These are great speakers with excellent sound output and true value for money. The only challenge I found is that when you plug in headphones to the control box it mutes the speakers but you have no control over the volume level to the headphones because the audio is comming directly from the sound card to the control box. I would recomend having a keyboard with volume control built in to avoid having to alter the computer volume level each time you use the headphones.

I took a while before I wrote this, because for me, long term product quality is important. 3 months after purchase the volume control is crackling. These problems are progressive and I'm sure given another 3 months the speakers will be unuseable. I guess I'll soon find out what creative's returns policy is like.

I bought these as they were the only 2.0 in this price range. Within minutes of using them I discovered a high pitched whining coming from the left speaker, which was particularly noticable at low volumes. I googled about and disovered many people had had this problem. I thought I would give them a second chance, so I asked for a replacement set. Amazon provided this quickly, but they suffered from exactly the same problem! Very disappointing. I have now returned both sets for refund and gone for the superior but more expensive Bose companion 2.

OK firstly i just want to express the quality of this sound system, nice clear treble and mid and very nice rumbly booming bass, especially for £50! Now about PS3, the downside is that you will not get 5.1 surround sound, if you are after 5.1 you will need to buy a surround sound system with an optical cable in socket as the PS3 only has an optical out socket and nothing else (obviously when you connect the PS3 to the tv you will get sound from tv) but if you want to get sound out of this system here is what you need to do. Connect up your PS3 to the tv as normal (if you have a HDTV then i definately recommend you buy a HD cable which you can get in any decent electrical store for about £20) Next you ... Read More:

I was looking for a desktop speaker set for my laptop and mp3 player. Seeing the ratings and reviews, I decided to go for this one and I must say you get really a good quality set of speakers for this value. Good design, I like the big remote control which grips the surface of your desk. I'm no sound expert but I can say the bass feels really clear and basically you enjoy what you're listening to on loud or less volumes clearly. I'm using this for my tiny room which is around 5*5 meter but I guess it also would do good in a large living room for a possible house party. Go for it!

Logitech OEM S220 2.1 Speaker Black I bought this for my creative zen 8gb and it works just fine i was worried about it paying but it is really easy and provides great sound for a bargain player. i have a nice stereo downstairs and i rarely use it but now with my mp3 player upstairs i use it all the time it is really loud for the size of house we have and i would recommend it. i don't doubt that better exist but if it is jut for use within a room and not for a party then this is as loud as anyone could want. I had these for a few months before I moved. They are decent. Not bad. Other reviewers mentioned the hum - it IS an issue. But only if you have them plugged into something else that plugs into the wall. i.e. It did not happen when I had them plugged into my iPod. Unless I touched the ipod, or plugged it in to charge it, then they'd hum. The hum was never noticable when music or anything was playing, only when silent. But you wouldn't want to sleep to it. And the only power switch is round the back.. I never ran into the light flickering issue. All in all I learned to love them!

I went for Logitech speakers after having a brought wireless mouse and keyboard and being very pleased with quality of them. The speakers are excellent I have to say. Small two left and right speakers with an medium size sub woofer. I have to say did I came away from the deal thinking all this for 18 pounds .. good deal The only thing i don't like about them is that their are a lot of dublicate wires where they could of made them into one - The only reason it didn't have it didn't get five stars Recommended.

these are good speakers for the prise. ive had them over 3 months now and ive noticed that if you turn them up all the way they seem to over heat NOT VERY GOOD SMELL. but i just dont turn them up full blast ne more. yeah and the base is ether all or nothing oh yeah also turn the base up and cange your sound mix to base aswell and the speaker hits the front pannle ANNOYING
