Lens is excellent - service provided by the seller Allcam first rate let down only by the staggering incompetence of the delivery courier Citylink who managed to attempt to deliver to the wrong address twice in succession.

Now e-commerce is a fantastic retail development but it depends on the reliability of the carrier. This one, Citylink in Northern Ireland should be avoided at all costs - they are eyewateringly inept and their customer service is a disgrace. By all means buy online folks but avoid this courier service like the plague!

Outclassed in my opinion by the new Tamron 28-300mm VC ( not as sharp, though autofocus works better ) but still a great all rounder that allows you to go out all day without carrying a bag full of lenses.

Recommended.

....early, and there was no point leaving it in its box with the gtee running. A really cool-looking camera, that my 16yr old had up and running in minutes, without the need for instructions.

Unfortunately (for me) the pics are of such quality, that I look clearly terrible in the pics he's taken - which is a good thing, as it's gotten me onto a diet! It hooks up to the tv so you can record and play immediately all that's going on, and the video quality is superb. Amazon was definitely the cheapest at £94, as it is widely on sale for £118.

A great buy.

This Nikon SB-800 Speedlight was purchased to be used with a D300 D-SLR.

Although not the most powerful flashgun available on the market it's however, powerful enough and extremely well built and it's manual is very comprehensive and I'm still digesting all of it's content.

As with all of today's camera/flashgun manufacturers, whose products work effortlessly together, Nikon products are no exception. You get various auto modes such as I-TTL, AA etc. depending on your camera type, together with full manual mode when desired. It comes with a case, stand, soft light diffuser, gel kit and the extra battery attachment so a fifth battery can be use which reduces it's recharge time but strangely, no batteries. I'm currently ... Read More:

I have a Nikon SLR D80 camera which is regarded by nearly all reviewers as the no1 SlR mid-range camera to own. We also owned a trendy pink canon Ixus camera for compactness eg holiday nights out etc. the canon was terriable, slow, bad battery, several returns to canon for repairs. This nikon is cheap cheerful and great pics, for the price its fantastic and in 18 months or 2 years if i need a new one well for 100 outlay ive got my moneys worth from this 210 ...great buy and soo compact, a real gem

I'm very impressed with this lens. Before I bought it, I read reviews on various websites, some saying it was brilliant, some saying it wasn't very sharp, too big, too heavy etc.I took the plunge and bought one and haven't regretted it. I've used this on d40 and d300 bodies and it works superbly on both.

The autofocus is very fast, quiet and accurate. The VRII system is also very impressive allowing very slow shutter speeds - I've had sharp, handheld images at 1/30 sec at 300mm which would be completely impossible without it. As for the size and weight, for a lens with a maximum focal length of 300mm with a built in focusing motor and an optical stabilisation system it's not really a problem (the canon equivalent is the same size but 100g lighter). The build ... Read More:

Dissapointed with the quality of photos. Comparing the 1010 to its previous model, 840 - there was a big difference in quality of photos. 1010 was blurry around the edges and 840 was crisp. This is the disadvantage of having all the extra's packed into a compact camera- however, you would think that Olympus make the newer model atleast of the same quality. Fine for regular photos, but as soon as you want to do some cropping and blowing photos to larger sizes, sacrifice quality a great deal. I find the 840 the better option, or even sharper photos are produced by Casio. Can't comment on other brands of camera's, as I haven't used them as yet. I would recommend you try it out in the shop first, and make a decision.
