....early, and there was no point leaving it in its box with the gtee running. A really cool-looking camera, that my 16yr old had up and running in minutes, without the need for instructions. Unfortunately (for me) the pics are of such quality, that I look clearly terrible in the pics he's taken - which is a good thing, as it's gotten me onto a diet! It hooks up to the tv so you can record and play immediately all that's going on, and the video quality is superb. Amazon was definitely the cheapest at £94, as it is widely on sale for £118. A great buy.

Dissapointed with the quality of photos. Comparing the 1010 to its previous model, 840 - there was a big difference in quality of photos. 1010 was blurry around the edges and 840 was crisp. This is the disadvantage of having all the extra's packed into a compact camera- however, you would think that Olympus make the newer model atleast of the same quality. Fine for regular photos, but as soon as you want to do some cropping and blowing photos to larger sizes, sacrifice quality a great deal. I find the 840 the better option, or even sharper photos are produced by Casio. Can't comment on other brands of camera's, as I haven't used them as yet. I would recommend you try it out in the shop first, and make a decision.

I find Amazon UK really good for buying books, also the Marketplace, deliveries are always on time. Today is 10th of September 2008, and I still didn't get the camera from them (the leathercase and flashcard arrived on time, from 3rd party sellers). I've contacted Amazon several times but they keep promising the product will be delivered and nothing happens. They can't really do something to help you. These binoculars aren't really a toy, but they are very suitable for the younger user - as well as anybody looking for a good honest pair of binoculars. They are durable, very easy to use and definately recommended for anyone looking for a well made, competitively priced, easy to use pair of bino's. Very suitable for general use, not extremely powerful, but ideal for bird watching, sport viewing, as well as touring. The only thing I will change is the strap which I think is a bit short and a bit thin. Other than that very minor point, absolutely first class purchase.

I again read other reviews on these and went through a "shall I shan't I" phase? Anyway I took the plunge and am glad I did, these are super little bino's I have joined the insect world in CLARITY with pin sharp easy focusing, while being great for bird watching as well. Also lightweight with a rubber coating, ideal for travel. Thanks Pentax
