Was looking to upgrade my sound quality, but not wanting to pay any huge amount of money. After reading the reviews on this card i decided to go for it. And wow! What a great sound card for such a small price! The one thing i do have to warn people of, if you use crappy speakers with this sounds card, the sound quality is awfull, as the card tries to send out sound quality and pitches that the speakers cant manage. Make sure you have a good sound system to go with it. The combination that Amazon recommend it s great one, and just happens to be what I have! Definately worth buying!!

A fine audio card, now suitable for those on a budget. Let down only by poor website support from Creative. Strange, the website is fast and zippy if you're browsing for something you might buy, but sluggish as treacle if you're looking for support. I have PIV and realy tried to buy a great computer. I bought creative audigy 2, instaled it and I tried with all cubase versions, it turned that cubase its not a problem but creative is. If you can CREATIVE give us some answers or close your shop, definitly people have rights to be angry with you. Why everytime I open cubase it says that the sample rate could not be set, and direct music midex 3 1 not connected, than when I import audio files they wont play or midi sometimes would not record, and lots of other problems. Maybe you should write an manual for how to setup creative with cubase. I'm sorry that I bought this soundcard, be honest and if there is a solution to these problems tell us, if not youre going down.

I brought this soundcard for the production of music, this is'nt at all good enough for multitrack recording in programs such as logic. It is purely a gamers card. The midi and multitrack features are not good enough for music production. You are better to get a second hand pro card from ebay with the money and get a professional card. Dont let the name decieve you, it isn't professional. But by all means buy it if your a gamer.

What a sound card this is i can't fault it. Amazing reproduction of audio and coupled with some decent speakers, like logitechs Z2300's, the result is awesome. It's a shame there are only 5 stars available. For the money there is nothing other to say than "buy it".
