I've been wanting to buy an MP3 player for ages and eventually settled on this one. Very impressed with the sound quality. It is really easy to download both music and vids. I have downloaded some BBC iPlayer programmes and have found them surprisingly watchable, despite the small screen size. The menu is intuative - just as well as the getting started instructions are not brilliant. I would have awarded 5 stars except it does not come with a protective cover and unlike iPods, getting accesseries has been really difficult (even my local Sony Centre didn't have a cover).

i bought this product 4 days ago and first impressions were i like it !! having got the hang of it which wasnt hard at all,my impression is i love it !!.the ease of use is hard to beleive and the sound quality in one word is fantastic !! on looks it is really cool and i am an auld fella of 67yrs so that should tell you something,as always amazon packaging and delivery are superb 10/10 to them thank you amazon.

This device knocks everything out of the current gen ipods. We have to consider it as on par with the likes of the ipod for being the best multimedia players out there today. I bought this Sony Walkman after 5 years of being entertained by the Sony NW-a1000 which i have to say is fab as well in terms of looks and sound. It was only recently that i decided to purchase the new Walkman player in hope of putting more songs and as well photos and vids. This laptop was an upgrade from my dell inspiron 6400, and my first experience with Vista (something I was unwilling to try for a long time). The FW11E is an impressive notebook to look at, very sleek design. I do like the latch-less design, and the power button on the hinge. However, as one of the previous reviewers mentioned, I don't really understand how Sony made the mistake of placing all 3 USB ports in the same area, which also turns out to be one of the worst areas to place a USB port in the first place! Its perfectly fine if you don't use a mouse, but the USB plugs do get in the way if you do what a lot of people decide to do when using the laptop at home, which is plug in a mouse, and several other USB peripherals.
