Brilliant camera - brilliant pictures in RAW format but let down by the image conversion software supplied on disc with the camera. Sony help line about as good as their software !! Pity really otherwise would have given the complete package 5 stars.

I ordered two Sony Memory Sticks from Love Digital. They charge a rip-off £3.99 PER item and I still have not received them 10 days later. (The Sony camera I ordered at the same time direct from Amazon arrived in two days for no delivery charge - excellent service from Amazon) I emailed Love Digital via the Amazon web-site a few days ago, but received no reply. I emailed them again a few days later, but still no reply. How incredibly rude and arrogant. DO NOT TRUST LOVE DIGITAL. I am now currently going about getting my money back from Amazon. I would not even have awarded 1 star, but there is not an option for no stars.

I bought one of these from Digiplay and it turned out to be a useless fake. When I complained they asked me to return it (at my own cost) before sending me another fake! When I reported them to Amazon they cancelled my order stating that the item was "Out of Stock", but then they threatened to charge my credit card if I didn't return the fake memory stick. I had to cancel my credit card.

This is without doubt great value for money. And in fact I was very impressed...........until I extended it. The actual tripod head is really quite good, I was more than satisfied with being able to easily pan to the left and right and switch to portrait. However, when extended to anything near eye level it really is quite flimsy and is not very stable at all, which seems to me the main purpose of a Tripod? (this does make it very lightweight though) Therefore it certainly shouldn't be considered for serious amateur or semi-pro Photography.

If on a budget this is a must have lens for your dslr. It will pretty much set you up for any shot due to its 70-300mm (105-450mm 35mm equivalent) but obviously if you can stretch your budget, do so. I had this lens some years ago, had to sell to pay for something else. and im looking at buying a new one again, its that good. to sum up for a smidge over £100 its a great lens

Ive just started A level photography and decided to buy a good camera. Stright away I thought of Cannon as they have a good reputation. I brought the Cannon 450D. After about 5 days it was just not what I was looking for, the live view wasent amazing and the standard lens was not good enough for the price I paid. I decided to go for the Sony a350. WOW what a differance, the live view was fantastic. The standard lens was great and the 14MP made alot of differance when zoomed in. Ive owned my Sony Cybershot W5 camera for several years now and tried to make do with a miniscule 128mb Memory Stick constantly deleting some lovely photographs just to make space for others. The time i purchased my camera Memory sticks of this size cost well over £30 so i always put off purchasing a higher capacity stick for this very reason thinking i could make do for the time being,that was five years ago. Recently on a visit to Co durham i paid a visit to Escomb church which is one of only three surviving buildings that dates from 650AD that is totally intact.I was visiting on a business trip to nearby Shildon and thankfully must return early next year. I was looking for a tripod to take on holiday (alpine walking in Switzerland), so wanted something small & light whilst still being sturdy enough to hold a DSLR rock-steady. Also wanted to avoid those piddley travel tripods that stand a maximum of 15cm tall, and mean that you're either constantly looking for a conveniently situated wall to put the thing on, or you're crawling on your hands and knees just to look through the viewfinder. The VCT-R100 fulfilled every one of my requirements; It is basic as tripods go, but strikes the perfect balance between size/weight and portability/practicality. And I can still barely believe it was less than £20. Bargain.
