Great piece of equipment, it does everything that is claimed. It doesn't move on the dash and is simple to use. Another bonus is that being closer to you it is easier to view the Sat-Nav. Full marks would recommend to anyone

A good length cable attached to the insert lock by a padlock. Not pretty but maybe visibility is a benefit when it comes to deterrence. Mildly concerned about the relatively flimsy link that attaches the cable to the padlock but I'm sure it'd be easier to crack the laptop casing to release the insert rather than break the link. If someone really wants the laptop, they'll take it, although that would also be true with a more expensive lock.

The T-bar on the lock is just too big for the security slot on my Apple ibook. But it says in the profile that the lock can be used on ALL notebooks, which is in fact misleading. I purchased a lock of no use at all.
