This product is fantastic. I live in the UK and I bought one in America to use in the classroom. It is simple, fast and easy. Children ages 7, 8, and 9 can use it without any complications and load it up and view in in a flash. Great for using during drama/roleplay situations. Children get instant feedback and they often want to improve their productions every single time. A great bargain at this price and quality is really good.

WAS VERY PLEASE WITH CAMERA QUALITY AND SIZE WHEN IT ARRIVED BUT WHEN I USED IT THE SOUND IS ALMOST NON EXISTANT. I SEE NOW ANOTHER REVIEW HAS HAD SAME PROBLEM .WHEN I CONTACTED AMAZON IT SEEMS I CANNOT RETURN AS I HAVE USED THE CAMERA.I DONT KNOW HOW I WOULD KNOW IT WAS FAULTY UNTIL IT WAS USED .I ALSO PURCHASED TRIPOD AND CASE SO ALL IS NOW OF NO USE.

Bought this camcorder a few days ago so not had much chance to try it out as yet. But agree having to remove the battery to attach mains supply to connect to a PC is a nuisance. Surely users can be left to decide for themselves whether the battery has enough charge left to carry out the required operation? The major annoyance I have found is that even with the windcut switched on the microphones turn even the slightest hint of a breeze into a howling gale on the soundtrack. My first digital camcorder about 10 years ago was a Panasonic and had the same problem which I put down to digital camcorder technology then being new. What an amazing little gadget! The picture and sound quality are exceptional considering the price tag and it's so easy to use that even my slightly techno-phobe husband could take footage. I'm having a little trouble emailing videos but I'm hoping that will iron itself out in time. I'd recommend buying a USB cable as I felt that using the integral USB arm is a bit precarious. I'm still giving the Flip 5 stars though, as I love it and and am so glad I bought it to preserve memories of my baby daughter. :-)

This is a beautiful camera. It feels surprisingly solid for such a small object. Video images taken with this camera is superb but because the camera is so small that without supporting it against something solid you get quite a shaky image if you zoom in. The 4 megapixel still images are not good enough to produce a 10x8 print from it - which is a shame because the rotatable flip screen is ideal for composing candid photos and taking image from high and low angles. This also means carrying 2 cameras if you want to combine taking stills and video. If you buy this camera, I suggest you carry a spare battery with you as you might find you run out of power just in the middle of taking Spielberg beating footage

I'm a technophobe when it comes to video so I was looking for something that was extremely simple to use but that also provided excellent quality clips. I'd looked at the Flip but as a fan of other Creative products, thought I'd give the Vado a try. And its brilliant. Once you get the hang of how the controls work, its a no brainer to record a video, play it back and upload it either to your pc or youtube. Just a tip - I couldn't connect the software to my youtube account (it wouldn't recognise my account details) but its easy enough to copy the video to the desktop and upload it from there. Excellent value for money - cheap, looks great and creates high quality clips.

Flip F260N-UK Video Ultra Series Digital Camcorder - Orange (60 mins) Easy to use and download onto computer. Great fun to use at parties, going out etc.. Good picture quality, sound could be better. Just turn on and shoot!

I though the camera was good But the softwear is rubbish could not load it onto my pc E mailed Canon at least six times got no help at all, have now returned it Amozon as not fit for purpose and am awaiting a refund. C Davies.

Toshiba Camileo Pro Camcorder i bought this for my sister as a christmas present so she could film her three kids but i was dissapointed with the picture quality, and the sound in non existent. so dissapointed ive now got to send it back and look for another one. :-(

The zoom is adequate but not great. And the picture quality is good for its price. The better the lighting you have, the better the quality of the video taken.
