I have to say that I ordered this with the colour cartridge on 25th June and had super saver delivery so didn't cost any extra and they arrived today. I can't fault 3 days delivery for no postage cost. The ink works fine and I know that I'm still covered by warranty for using manufacturers goods. I use reviews a lot to decide on what and where to purchase and just wanted to relate my experience which has been first class.

My brother recently got a Pixma 6600D and asked me to order a set of 6 carts. Having an account with Amazon I thought these were a good price but ouch - the postage ended up MORE than the price of the cartridges. OK, I should have checked before clicking confirm but when postage on a small package tends to be a few pounds I expected something below a fiver. Having had a heart attack I would feel guilty passing on the postage cost in full so I shall now end up out of pocket thanks to the unclear cost.

For owners of Canon printers. If you want good quality photographs and photographs that will remain good quality for many years to come, genuine Canon Ink Cartridges should be purchased. I have tried all the cheaper cartridges available over the years and have found there is no substitute for the genuine article. Cheap inks cartridges are ok for rough work but to use cheap cartridges for quality photographic prints is false economy. Don't be tempted by cheap cartridges if you want long lasting colour prints. P.S. I am a genuine customer and have no connection with Canon or any other manufacturer. This is purely my advice based on many years of printing photographs on Canon printers of various types.

I have seen the review by another Amazon user. The ml content of genuine Canon cartridges is abismal but i have found excellent compatible cartridges @ www.advantage-online.co.uk These cartridges contain approx 2 times the amount of ink and are cheaper than the Canon version. Most important they work very well and there is no difference in quality from the original. I ordered one black and one colour and received them next day with free postage.

When Hp sell you a new printer they supply a Hp 342 (c9361ee) colour and a Hp 336 (c9362ee) black cartridge. Well these cartridges only hold 5mls of ink each which is written in really really small writing on the backs of the cartridge boxes. For higher yield cartridges the black cartridge what you really need is the Hp 337/338 which holds 11mls of ink or the extra high yield Hp 399 which holds 21mls of ink. There is a company that I use (advantage online) which stock a British premium compatible 337/338 which holds 24mls of ink and a 339 British premium compatible that hold a incredible 34mls of ink. Hp make there money out of selling you a very good printer but then sell you cartridges that have hardly any ink in them (336 & 342). Don't fall ... Read More:
