I got my iPod Nano for free along with a mobile phone and thought I was getting a great deal. If I'm honest neither were that great at playing music and the phone was given to my girlfriend. I have an old Sony Ericson k750i and loved the mp3 playback. The sound quality was superb but it was a drain on my battery if used for a while. I thought with the iPod that this issue would be resolved and with everyone saying how good they were I felt confident that this was the answer. The first time I played any music in my iPod I was shocked at how poor the sound quality is. It sounds very very tinny and there is almost no bass. I ordered this item yesterday eveing, and it arrived this morning! I guess that's more to do with the supplier, rather than the product itself. I have not used it all that long, but as far as I can see there are no defects with the card. What I'd really like to say is to those idiots complaining about postage. It said in the letter that came with the card: "Please note postage £4.50 for each item is fixed by Amazon under Electronics & Photo category and can not be changed, total prices have been justified" So please stfu and leave your complaints about the postage somewhere else, because this is not the fault of the supplier or the manufacturer. had this for 4 weeks now and can't beleive how good it looks and sounds.can't fault it.i just download from wma and it is so quick to sync.impressed that it displays the artwork as it looks really cool. to the reviewers querying the battery life,i've only just found out that although the display dimms when you're listening to music if you slide the on/off switch in the opposite direction until it clicks,this cuts off the display altogether thus conserving battery life.all in all a lovely little player.

I am sorry but 5 stars is not enough. This quite simply is the best bit of kit you will ever buy. Do not dither i beseech you. I ummed and aahed for a day or so so you can count me as having done the dithering for you if you like. It looks like not of this earth when you power it up and from then on in it does not disappoint. It is quite simply incredible. The build quality and the sheer amount of stuff it can do is staggering. All this with an interface even a hamfisted dimwit like myself picked up without recourse to instructions. I have both ipod classic and ipod nano, to be frank none of the ipods come near to walkman MWZA816B, the sound is superb and of very high qaulity, the earbud which come with it is excellent, I even tried it with pro-headphone, without noticing any fault in music qaulity. stick to sony's earphones and you will be better of. if you have small library of albums the 816 is the right set for you. I hope you will enjoy your unit the way I enjoy mine.

Until recently I had been using an 8GB Sansa E200 from Sandisk and had been very happy with that, minor software problems aside. I was tempted across to the Creative ZEN 32GB player due mostly to the sheer size of the memory and also through the ability to add storage in SDHC format and also the built-in FM radio...and have been extremely happy with it. It is extremely simple and intuitive to use for both the menu and also the ability to work well with Windows Media Player (which the Sandisk never quite behaved with). It looks very good and has an excellent screen quality. I do love my new Creative Zen Stone, but I only wanted a tiny mp3 player to put my favourite tracks on to so that I can carry it around easily and listen to everything on shuffle. It's brilliant for that. (I already have a 30GB Creative Zen vision for all my music.) I haven't bothered with the headphones, as I have a much better set. I reckon Creative should break the mould and offer their mp3s without headphones for those who are clued up to the `the headphones that come with mp3 players are usually duff' fact of life. There is some background noise but I only notice it between tracks and that's only if I'm paying attention. This is my first Pod. Its a fantastic little gadget. I use it walking to and from work and at lunchtime. Its extremely light and clips onto a shirt, tie, belt or jacket. Its easy to use and you get a good 12 hours from a very quick charge up [2-3 hours]. Quality is good and better than some MP3's i've tried and I like the headphones. They are comfortable and good enough quality. Maybe a bit light on the bass. The only criticism is the fact that you can't select the music you want to listen to and after a while its something I miss. You can listen to whats installed in order or shuffled up. Fantastic little player. I defy you to find better at this price! Beware: Initially, I couldn't get Windows to see it. All it took was a USB setting change in one of Sansa's menus, but as the player was supplied discharged and the menus aren't available when connected to (powered by) the computer it was a bit chicken-and-egg to get it going. Don't let this put you off. I like it a lot.

the mp3 is great but i hate the shuffle because it dosent relly shuffle all the songs and when it dose it just replays them in the same order so thats annoying plus i found myself have listening to the same song over and over again at least 6 times before i realised it and no i am not stupid i am a student who listens to music very often, but besides that just i just need to say that is mp3 is very good and thats that.
