I tried two cards to download MP3s to play on a bedside DAB unit. Both cards failed in the same way with I/O errors then were corrupt. I wasted a lot of time reformatting and re-trying. I'll try again with a Kingston or SanDisk - I was just trying to save a few pounds which backfired.

I bought this for my new HTC 620 smartphone. I am very happy, just popped the card in and it worked without any installation. When I took pictures, the mobile asked if I would like to store the taken pics into the micro sd card. Then I stored all my favorite music on it, too.

Just got a digital camera and this wee card is great, all you do is put it in your camera and away you go, especially good for non computer/digital camera literate people like myself and it even comes with a wee plastic storage box, brill, the cheapest around, well worth it.

ONE YEAR ON UPDATE - STILL FINE AND NO PROBS AT ALL. HAVE BEEN USED OVER AND OVER.
ORIGINAL REVIEW - I bought a couple of these on Amazon at the same time as a Casio Exilim 7.2 megapixel camera, in mid-2007, so I'm new to digital pix. Both cards (and the camera) have been fine in the last 3 months. No reliability probs yet. About 300 pix taken. (Well, 400, with 100 deleted, with the SD card still in the camera.) Each pic takes about 2 or 3 seconds (on 'normal' or max res) to transfer straight from the camera (via its cradle and a connecting lead) to the PC - maybe some would consider that slow, but it's OK for me. Will report back if any probs. Plastic holder is pretty handy - to prevent losing or damaging, and to help find, these tiny cards ... Read More:

Possibly they are usually fine,(?) but mine allowed me to take 2 or 3 photos, then insisted that it needed reformatting. It would'nt either re-format OR store photos right from the beginning so in the waste-bin it went!
Maybe a 2nd one would've been ok, but i'm not chancing it, better ways to waste my money!...
