I brought this camera a little over 1 month ago, and after extensive testing on a holiday to Berlin was very impressed with the features on this camera, only down side is the smile feature! i tied it out, and you need to be grinning ear to ear to make it work! but apart from that it is a good camera. Battery life is very good, and there is an internal memory just in case you run out of space on your memory card, i have a 4gb memory card and have found this sufficent for at least 4 days worth of photos, picture quality is very good as is the video recording. i would recomed this camera as it is light , looks good and packed with features.

the card and battery cover is worthy of a 10p toy very poor - worse still mine was deliverd with a fault - strong horz lines across the pictures and total over exposure in daylight. Let see how Canon respond this, one is scrap.

Well I followed the advice of the other reviewers and bought this camera, and I have to agree with everyone else, it's a great camera. Mind you, I also followed the advice of one reviewer and bought it from Dixons (yek!) for £129 delivered! It seems that Amazon aren't always cheapest, and now that they've started supplying some stuff (including this camera) via third party suppliers you don't neccessarily get the great service that we've become used to so it might pay to shop around. Still a superb camera though!

Does this camera come with a battery, I am on my second one from Amazon and there has not been a battery in either box !!!!

Got this camara a week a go, to replace the built in one on my k850i. Got the z10fd because of the good reviews it had and the way it looked. Have tried most of the functions on the phone and have found it easy to navigate and work. The picture are very good except for one's took at night with the flash. It easly beats the picture from the k850i. Would highly recommend this camara, if it is to replace a phone camara and you need something light and portable, that gives good results.

This isn't the slimmest or tiniest compact digital camera, but it's still easily pocketable (jacket, not shirt!) and for the price, produces great pics in a compact form. The screen is a good size and nice and bright and the extra bit on the zoom makes a difference - most of the competition stops at 3x. The colour choice allows a bit of personalisation. There are an amazing number of presets, but you won't need most of them, and the most important ones are the most accessible. Anyone unused to digital cameras or who is a bit of a technophobe upgrading might find the menus a bit of a fiddle, but for most purposes, they won't be used much. I really do! My sister gave me her old Fujifilm camera when she got this one (in a different colour) and it was like a brick- so naturally I wanted one like hers, and I'm so glad I bought it. Best £100 I've spent in ages. The camera takes a fantastic picture, and uses software that locates faces and modifies the light around them to improve picture quality and remove red eye. The finish is great- it's polished and feels smooth in your hands. The camera turns on by sliding open the lens and the whole thing is as easy to use as that. Other than the colour and the metallic finish, what I really like is the battery.
