It's a nice looking product, but at first I thought it didn't work at all with the ipod touch 2nd gen. When you put the ipod touch into the docking station the sound just comes out of the internal speakers, the speaker system of the Gear 4 don't kick in. I realise now that to deactivate the internal speakers of the ipod touch you need to have something in the headphone jack, but because the headphone jack is on the same side as the docking/connection port of the ipod touch you can't have it in the Gear 4 system at the same time! So to use the speakers you have to take the ipod touch off of the Gear 4 speakers and attach a double ended lead between the ipod touch & Gear 4 speakers & then it works fine, although doesn't look as good! Well what can I say about the IPOD Shuffle Speaker System, its small and ideal for travel, and considering its size and power requirement the sound quality aint all that bad. Its well worth the money and does the job well. It may not replace your stereo or larger sound system but as I have said its great for travelling with and for holidays. Hope this helps.

I completely agree with the first reviewer. Also, I've purchased cheaper ipod accessories and often been disappointed by the lack of thought in their design. Belkin have the perfect leather case here. The soft plush interior provides a safe, snug fit. It even looks great - both inside and out. Enjoy!

Ordered for my iPod touch 2nd Gen to get better, louder sound than the puny unbuilt speaker delivers. A waste of time - the iblock does not mute the internal speaker and does not play any sound either. Totally useless.

This product is very good for the price you pay.My ipod fits perfectly in it however I have had it for a few months now and the plastic is torn...mmmm that maybe because I can be a bit vigorous with it at times...but it looks snazzy on the arm :)

I've bought 2 previous Belkin sport bands for i-pod nano and both within a month the glue from the velcro had started to peel off very disappointment for £20. But then when the new i-pods came out there was very little available to protect it in the gym so bought this strap. Now after 3 weeks already noticed the velcro peeling off again and also it gets very wet so I have no idea why it's useful for sport has you'll obviously get sweaty and it's inevitable that water may get into your ipod. That happened on my last nano and I had to wait a month for it to get repaired. Take my advice don't buy Belkin

Just received this item, on the recommendation of the two previous reviews. What value for money, it sounds good, definately not tinny, equaliser, fm radio and a remote all for £45 brill! I've decided to use it as a portable instead of home stereo, even though its slightly bulky the sound is good, i had purchased another one for £100 but i think this is definately good value. My only gripe is that the cables not long enough! Go on give it a try.
