I have to say that I ordered this with the colour cartridge on 25th June and had super saver delivery so didn't cost any extra and they arrived today. I can't fault 3 days delivery for no postage cost. The ink works fine and I know that I'm still covered by warranty for using manufacturers goods. I use reviews a lot to decide on what and where to purchase and just wanted to relate my experience which has been first class.

A reasonable phone overall. It has a nice clear display and the menu options are easy to navigate around. The screen has plenty of space to display phone book entries, unlike our old Binatone phone where it could only hold names up to 8 characters. I also like the feature where, once you've entered all the contacts into the address book, you can automatically copy them to the other handset. This saves you time having to enter the phone contacts onto each phone separately. There is a good selection of polyphonic ring tones although most of them are pretty poor in sound quality compared to what you can get on a mobile phone. The reception seems fine and voice quality is on a par with our old phone. Read More:

These two phones offer great value for money. The sound quality is fine as is the volume. They benefit from hands free facility and are easy to use. As a person that needs to wear reading specs I find that the key pad is sufficiently large/clear that I can read the keys without the specs (very handy). Not so the tiny screen. It is totally impossible to get even a vague notion of what the screen displays without the specs. However I just want a phone that allows me to make phone calls. I never bother with facilities such as phone book etc. so I don't really need to use the screen, after all at the beginning of time phones didn't require a screen. Easy to use and performs well - trouble is it dies too readily. We are (or were) on our 2nd BT Response 75: our first just saw out the warranty, dying after 13 months. We had liked it so much we bought another, but this has now also died, albeit after 2 years. Is it me? Do I expect too much? For your info, 'we' are a UK couple in our 60s, so no kids at home, and only normal domestic useage. I agree with Kotovasii re PP3 batteries - they are very expensive and (possibly) unnecessary - but their cost pales into the proverbial insignificance when compared to repeated renewals of the entire unit.

I have had this phone (with extra handset) for about a year. As soon as I bought it I identified a number of issues, some of which have been discussed in other reviews. I have raised all of them with NetGear support and none of them have been resolved. I have dealt with many 'bad service' organizations before, but NetGear's support of this product is special in that it is exists as bunch of resources (off shore) but it does not exist as support. People acknowledge the support requests but never, ever address the problem. They also have a neat trick whereby they close the request automatically after a period of inactivity (their inactivity). A good all round machine, does all as specified. Excellent value for money. I found no problems with broadband.

I work from home and so have pretty high useage of the phone. I need to type details on to a database whilst I am on the phone so I really needed a phone that had a headset connection. This is the first phone, as far as I aware, that has a headset connection that is easy to get a headset for and not one that you need to get an adapter for in order to connect the headset. Once you get used to using a headset, you'll not want to go back to having to hold the phone to your ear! It also has legs at the back so the phone is tilted to a level where you can see the display properly without having to lean forward and peer over the phone in order to see who is calling you. Just purchased this for my Mum who's 80, and a Parkinson's sufferer. The feature which attracted me was the AMPLIFICATION. Out of the box, first impressions are "this is huge"! It's almost twice the size of a normal phone. But then it is called "Big"! Buttons are what it says on the tin - big too! Now to the amplification. You have ability to set INcoming and OUTgoing amplification via a binary switch on the BASE of the unit. I immediately set it to IN and then increased volume to highest via front volume+/- switch. Then I flipped to OUTgoing and did the same. Now wouldn't you expect those setting to remain in place so my Mum would have to change them? Well they don't.
