I needed a serial connection for configuring Cisco devices. I found both my my laptop and PC didn't have a serial port. Oh did I mention they have vista installed, I discovered no hyperterminal :( Anyway after trying a number of cables this one worked like a breeze. All I had to do was plug this cable in, windows found the drivers and bam, I have a com port!

Top marks to ABC products - I received it a day before the promised despatch date. Not much to say about the cable other than it serves its purpose. I hooked it up, Vista saw and installed it and my old HP LaserJet 4L gets a new lease of life.

i saw this product amongst alot of similar versions. i have bought 2 different makes and none worked with vista this one did. I found this easy to install and it is a nice quality item and a with fair price. when i asked a question about the product i got a immediate response.

ideal for the older printer were no USB connection is available,note with XP, you dont need to install software for most Epson printers, just connect the USB, allow XP to install driver, some older printers may require a XP driver, my opinion, first class buy. I bought two of these. David Lincs

I have a HP Deskjet 815c and I was a bit concerned that this might not work with my printer especially as it wasn't included in the list on the packet. But NO problem. Followed the instructions and was printing in a couple of minutes from a Vista PC (I also checked the HP website to make sure my printer would work from Vista). Much cheaper than buying a new printer.

I'm a Belkin fan and as a previous owner of another (now discontinued) Belkin UPS I was confident about spending this amount of money on this UPS so I could power two PCs and a monitor at once. You can find detailed reviews elsewhere but the things I noted were: 1) It is VERY heavy... 2) My previous model was described as noisy but it didn't bother me. The buzz of this one however is certainly louder than my previous model. It is VERY noticeable in a quiet bedroom at night and in the end I had to return it because of this reason. 3) Oddly I couldn't get my Internet connection to work until I replaced the cables I had been using with Belkin's own supplied cables. Had this for a year now. This is a good UPS which does exactly what it says on the box. Only prob is that my pc is so power hungry that I only get five miniutes to shut down. However it enables you to save the work you are doing or to cancel scans etc. So far thou i have not had to rely on it.
