I ordered this after going through reviews and comparing with other products with the reviews/prices and technical spec given. I can say that this give great quality of sounds and easy of setup, worth for the money you spend. The box requires bit of space but you can keep it under the table and the speakers are nice and small.

iStuff Companion Speakers Good points: very, very small & light & have a neat little case if you like that kind of thing. No batteries or power is needed, which makes them very portable. Bad points: poor quality sound and distortion at high volumes. The maximum volume is just enough to be heard in one room, but not if the room is full of people. Also the headphone jack lead is very short. Portable Folding Speakers for Ipods & mp3 players - white = the same as you find on lots of websites. Good points: maximum volume better than iStuff. I agree with the other reviews - it's a fantastic product. For me it's the perfect blend of high sound quality, decent volume, and portability - it's both lightweight and small, and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. Brilliant buy.

Great little speakers, good sound, wouldn't have paid £70 for them but worth current price (£25) agree case should be big enough to fit mains lead, can be squished in but not designed for it. Bought white then now seems to be a black option in photos , not there when I ordered, don't see an option to choose colour, would have preferred black but need them now so no time to attempt a change. Biggest gripe, no dock adaptor for ipod nano 2nd gen though that is the ipod featured in the picture on the box (probably to make speakers look bigger?) ipod will stand on plug but should come with adapter as says works with all dockable ipods, grrrrrr.

These speakers look great but that's where the quality ends. The satellites have good treble but the sub is flat and offensive when turned up. No idea what the alternatives are but please do your research first. Real value: Probably about £20.00.

I think the previous reviewer is a bit dim because you have to pull the 2 leg stands out from the back of the unit to enable it to stand up otherwise it will of course fall over!! Mine stands up fine (When the legs are pulled out) and the sound is superb especially the 3d feature which gives a spatial sound and is really effective. Overall great sound and value for money for a compact portable unit and don't forget that it has a rechargeable battery so you don't need to buy any or keep it plugged into the mains for it to work hence it can be used anywhere, plus it has a small remote so no need to get up to change the volume or scan the tracks!! Of course the Bose unit has a better sound but it is a lot more expensive and weighs a ton so it depends ... Read More:

This is really a fantastic piece of equipment it sounds great from the very bottom to the very top end of the sound spectrum. I would highly recommend this product to any 'Music Lovers'.

I have been searching for portable speakers for a while, if you are looking for something taht is:- a) Portable b) Battery powered (with mains option) c) Not limited to iPod's only (3.5mm jack input) d) quality sound Then the iM4 is perfect. The JBL on tour was a close second an is probably slightly louder but the iM4 wins on sound quality and the MaxxBass technology is impressive. For holidays, hotel rooms and on the balcany with a beer it's the perfect choice.

I've just bought the X-240 speakers and the design is excellent. I love the cute little satellites, they're well angled to point directly to you. If you like your music SERIOUSLY bass heavy, then these are a good buy. I have the sub set to about 25% and in loud paced music it's still too "thud" rather than "music". Basically, it's a GREAT kick-drum, but bass guitar is poor. I've just had to replace my Harman Kardon Soundsticks (and coz I'm feeling poor, I didn't want to replace the £129 speakers at the same price). I saw a good few reviews for the X-240 and I guess for the money, they're a good deal. Anyone who tries to persuade you these are "HiFi" needs to be led into the street and put out of your and everyone else's misery. ... Read More:
