I've been using this for about a month and am, so far, pretty impressed with it. I have it in my Mini and although the power adapter is a really tight fit in the cigarette lighter socket (so much so, that I have to be careful pulling it out that it doesn't take the entire socket with it!) it works a treat. The unit comes with several adapters for different types of iPod; I'm using it with a 3G iPhone and strangely, I've had to use the iPod video adapter even though it comes with an iPod Touch adapter, which I thought was basically the same casing as the iPhone. ahhh its worth the money i spend on it. its good but... in the review it was written that it can transmit upto 10 meters but it doesnt even work for half a meter. very bad. any how it can work if you stuck it to the radio..

I had my head unit fitted at a Halfords a while back and I was lured into spending £7 on an aux in cable for my ipod classic while I was there. I thought what's the harm it's a simple cable and I don't have to wait for a slightly cheaper one to get delivered from online... However.. that cable was a total let down. After just one day if you bent it in any position, the sound would cut out of one channel. This definitely wasn't my ipod playing up.. So I took it back and they tried replacing it. I wasn't interested.. Checked Amazon and liked the look of this one seeing how it was durable and had a few decent reviews. It turned up today and it's top draw, especially at this price. I purchased this unit over 4 weeks ago and have had it in daily use with my iphone 3G in my 4x4 every day. This is a great product and I initially couldn't fault it. Sadly it lasted just under 3 months and the supplier seems to be ignoring my attempts to contact them.

I can't recomend Squeezebox with ReadyNas. Half the time the controller can't find squeezecentre. This happens after periods of inactivity. Once you get it up and running which can be a process of turning the reciever off and taking the battery out of the controller, it's great. But it's too flaky at the moment. Hope these issues get sorted out soon or I might have to stamp on it !It's a pity.

Does exactly what it says on the box - and does it very well. The extending cable is a great idea, so there's not masses of wires all over the place. The sound quality is very good, and is limited only by the quality of the cassette player you put it in. Great gadget for a great price.
