Electronics : ZALMAN CNPS 9500 AM2 - Processor cooler - ( Socket 754, Socket 940, Socket 939, Socket AM2 ) - copper

I bought the 'ZALMAN CNPS 9500' to further cool my cpu. Its 1 of the more expensive products for this job but well worth it, looks the part too! It comes with a speed ajustment knob which you mount on the back of your pc case. The heatsink fits very securly onto the cps bracket, took a few attempt to get it on, but nothin a bit of force cant solve. The green light looks very cool and calm. The fan, on the lowest setting, can't be heard, and because of the great design it will keeep yr cpu cool even on this setting.
To sum it up - If your really into your pc's and like them extreamly cool and quiet then i highly recommend it! well done ZALMAN!

3.Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 - Case fan - 120 mm from: Sharkoon

Electronics : Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 - Case fan - 120 mm

This is the best performance silent case fan I've come across (for pure silence, you want something from the nexus range) but the CFM vs DB is brilliant on the silent eagle fans. The special mounting system isn't brilliant, It doesn't secure fans very well. But nothing wrong with just DIY washers and the standard screws that come with it.

The main drawback is the price, you can get fans that don't perform significantly worse for £3 (i.e. yate loons). I have two of these however as having only 2 120mm fans in a system - one for intake and one for exhaust - you want to make sure they're good.

I bought this when my old Asus P5N32-SLI DELUXE with intel pentinum d processor decided to crash and i still haven't resolved the reason why. However this motherboard is great i bought it along with the Amd Athlon 64 6000+ x2 am2 processor. Why 4 stars? Well because it isn't as fast as i was expecting from the top of the range processor and mobo however a lot faster than my previous intel processor. The other problem with it is that it takes a few miniutes to get rid of the over volt problem many user have had. However overall very good. I like all the features it comes with for example the LEDs that are on board that help you to see where things go in the dark. The LCD poster is also a great bonus.

I bought one of these to replace my original ASRock K7SX8E motherboard which suddenly failed, rather than completely replace my old Socket A AMD XP2600+ based system.
This is a very useful motherboard for use as a replacement or when building a system based on the now obsolete Socket A processor.
Installation was easy, though the manual doesn't really tell you a great
deal. There's a lot of support for older hardware, such as IDE hard drives and CD/DVD drives and 1 Floppy drive. There's also a parallel printer port and even a COM1 communications port, and ASRock have even provided a bracket with a COM1 socket on it.
Audio is provided by C-Media AC'97 Onboard Audio and there's 64Mb of Onboard Graphics RAM shared with ... Read More:
