The LC-32X20E was really easy to set up with an excellent build quality. The menu system is great, featuring an auto tuner, nameable AV inputs and when you turn a device on (assuming all other devices are off) it will auto switch to that input.

The TV itself has no ghosting/shadowing effects and can even handle fast pace game-play from Xbox 360, everything you would expect from a good 1080p television.

One negative I would note, is that the sound quality is a bit trebley but if your going to be using a 5.1 or have an amp it's not what I would consider a problem.

Really Great LCD HD TV, especially for the money. The picture is absolutely first rate, really sharp and vibrant, plus it can display 1080p which is a bonus. The sound is really good as well, although I have played around with the 7 band equalizer to get the sound I wanted. It was a bit bassy when it came out of the box, but if you just reduce the lower end equalizers, you'll get a sound which is perfect for any application (Sky, Freeview, PS3, Wii, DVD, Blu-Ray etc)
Set up is ridiculously easy, you'll be watching the in-built hd freeview channels within minutes. Really good stand also, the tv is very attractive to look at and not bulky at all - in fact its very sleek. I went up from a 26'' to a 37'' and the Philips doesn't look oversized or out ... Read More:

I decided back in May that I was going to spend some money I'd saved up on a LCD tv for my bedroom.

After much research, shopping around and advice I decided on a Sony LCD. I initially didnt want anything of this size but because there wasnt much of a price difference I decided what the hell and got this 32"! I paid £440 for it at the time and it arrived within a few days. I couldnt believe the brilliant price... such a difference between Amazon and everyone else selling it...including Sony themselves!

Months later and I'm still very pleased with my buy. It looks and sounds fantastic! It has pc input which is great, I plug my laptop in and watch movies online through it. The remote is brilliant, very easy and well laid out, as are ... Read More:

Bought the X3000 at a bargain price as ex-demo. I can tell you now this is one of the best LCD TV around. Only the top of the range Panys and Pioneers plasma is better on viewing movies. Other than that this X-series is the best all rounder. The connections is by far most generous compared with other TV's. It's still the most innovative in my opinion on design and looks. Only thing missing is the swivel stand and old dramas/films looks a bit rubbish compared to CRT.

This was a gift December 07. I was delighted then and am delighted now. Terrific (Bravia) picture quality on Freeview, with my DVD player and my PVR. Very swift EPG for Freeview, though it does turn the picture off to show the guide.

Works flawlessly with my PC at 1360x768 or 1024x768. I wouldn't want a higher resolution for the computer as the graphics card wouldn't cope, given that I want it to display Far Cry & Rome TW as well as the net etc. Even shows the TV channel as a small screen in the corner, whilst also handling the full PC image - a really nice picture in picture option...

Occasionally it seems to reduce the signal into my Humax PVR or vice versa (perhaps a tiny amount of interference?) but rarely a big problem and only ... Read More:

I read Minstrel's review and it swayed me from buying the much more expensive Z series model. I was not disappointed in any way with my choice when it arrived.
The picture and connectivity are what I expected. I may have been lucky. I lifted the TV out of the box with the base already factory fitted, plugged in the aerial and connected it to the power. It immediately tuned in all of the digital channels.I then tuned in the analogue ones and the only adjustment needed was the order of the analogue channels. This is the easiest TV I have ever set up and the picture quality is superb.
The TV has loops at the back of the stand and it is recommended that these are used to secure it to a wall, although I could not see it being moved very easily without it attached. ... Read More:

As a newby to lcd tv's and the fact I was renovating my bedroom I wanted to make the jump from my 20 inch sony tube tv which was perfectly fine but in order to save vital space and satasfy my viewing needs I went on the hunt for a shiny new fancy flatscreen set to parade on the wall(it's all the rage!)but before buying online I went round the usual high st stores-currys,comet etc to make sure in by having a look and comparing prices as i already had an idea I wanted this one from looking a pictures in buyers guides etc and yes call me vain but I went for this one purely on the looks and believe me it looks even sexier in person so went to read a few reviews etc and was satasfyed by the mainly positive feedback so I went and ordered it online at comet (forgive me amazon)then when I ... I spent a little extra buying this TV over some other 32" LCD's, mainly due to the excellent reviews I read on this product.

When I opened the box, I was surprised at the low quality of the plastics used, and the overall flimsy feel. Certainly not like the Sony's of old.

When powered up however, the image is really amazing, that Bravia engine certainly makes the built in freeview look good, which is normally where LCD's fall short. The image from my Xbox 360 via the VGA port was also very good, as was DVD playback via component.

Sound quality is nothing special though, there is a distinct lack of bass. With the bass control turned up, the sound is muddy. The treble also lacked clarity. It sounds the best with vocal material. Its a good thing that ... Read More:

I purchased one of these TV's a couple of months ago, we actually only wanted a 26" for the bedroom and ended up with 32" for the same price - one major benefit I found immediately is I can still see the TV without my glasses on and the sound is terrific plus with built in freeview no additional remote controls to loose in the bedcovers. I would recommend this set wholeheartedly for anywhere around the house. The only reason I mark this as second best was because we bought a 50" plasma for the lounge and you just cannot beat that.

I was lucky enough to be able to return this t.v, while the picture was brilliant for bluray films and games the picture was poor for standard digital tv and the sound was awful which is real shame as it looks the biz, feels solid and is easy to use.
