I'm not able to review this phone, I would like to but I have ordered it from two marketplace companies and both sent me different phones without checking if I wanted these, the customer service was pretty poor all round, I have had to return both phones and am awaiting the refunds. I have wasted a great deal of time and effort and all I wanted was a new house phone. I spoke to Amazon yesterday and they assured me they would investigate and have the item removed if it was not available. So check before buying!

We bought these phones because we were getting terrible interference and noise on the BT FM wireless phones we were using. These Panasonic digital phones are far better with only slight background hiss, problem solved! Battery life seems good and they use standard rechargeables so replacements will be cheap. Controls and menus are fiddly though making setup a pain although they do have a stack of useful features, like being able to call between the handsets and assign different ringing tones to each one. Which would be nicer if the ringing tones were pleasant! Overall, a good phone at a good price but lumbered with convoluted ergonomics and annoying ringtones.

This phone worked fine when I had XP, but having changed computer and had Vista I could not get the phone to work.

Panasonic KXTG7122ES Digital Cordless Telephone With Answering Maching Twin Pack. An amazing package for the price. The calls are crystal clear.The quality is first class. The system is easy to set up and Panasonic have even pre registered the extra handsets so you do not even have to think of doing that. Overall,highly recommended for those of you who want a cordless/answerphone set at a very good price.

I thought I'd share my experience with this phone one year and some months on since I bought it. I'm back on Amazon having to buy a new phone because both the headsets that came with this phone bit the dust: I had been having major troubles with static and have checked the phone service, replaced all filters and cables still to no avail. And then BT informed me that it is my phone. The battery life is great but what is the point when you can't HEAR anyone due to the static? To boot, I bought this phone solely for the headset use and both handsets had problems with the headset - the prong for the headset on each handset loosened so I got really bad feedback if I even moved a muscle when I had my headset on. Great sound, great options, great design. this phone looks good in my house and certainly gets a lot of wow reactions from family and friends. More importantly the phone sound quality is excellent. I'm giving this phone 4 out of 5 because of the lack of functionality, not the phones quality. It is tying to be a bit like a mobile phone with colour screens, ring tones etc. But as far as I can see there is no way to add your own wall papers, ring tones or applications. So it loses a star for limiting me to its in built tones.

I have had my set of these for yonks and am happy enough with them. It's awkward to do call screening with them as you can't hear a message being left on the answerphone and have to press a combination of buttons before the person hangs up to do so, and you have to do a similar action to switch to the other handset in mid call if the one you are using is about to conk out where it has been left off the handset too long since last charge. Neither problem is life threatening, but they do make doing either action very awkward. The thing I do like, though, and is the one thing I searched high and low for at time of purchase, is that there is just one button to start or end a call and that it is in the middle of the top of the handset.
