I recently bought this webcam. Set-up etc. reasonably straightforward, though lead is a bit too short to allow me to connect to the mic jackplug on the pc (on the floor by the side of my desk) and place the camera on top of the monitor. But as it happens this doesn't matter, as although the picture quality is pretty good, the mic is virtually useless and I have had to resort to a seperate mic. If I hadn't owned one, I would have returned the webcam. There is also quite a delay in the synchronisation of speech and lip movement ...though I think this may be a common problem with webcams in general. I'm sure there are better all round webcams for the price. I wouldn't recommend this one unless you just want decent visuals and sound is unimportant. ... Read More:

Installing was easy and everything went smoothly I must admit but in order to have a 100% decent phonecall I have to sit withing half a metre of the base. 2 metres and its similar to having a conversation like they do on the News when speaking to America. Leave the room and they can hear nothing. The strange thing is that I can seem to hear them fine but the other way is no good at all. Woudln't recomend this phone at all but bought a corded one IPEVO which works brilliantly.

Found the product simple to set up. Main problem the ring tone is so low you can't hear it and the handset volume is set to medium so so can't hear callers. After much fiddling with the menu to reset the volume(s) gave up and sent it back.

Greetings everyone. It's been ten days since I bought it, but this headset is really cool. The previous reviews are good, but I didn't expect the headset to be better than what was described. The mic. is of a good quality and the earphone part is loud and clear in addition to the missing info in the product detail that this set can be modified for right or left ear (Cool, isn't it!) and the cable is about 1.8 m long (practical if you move around a lot during voice chats). I purchased this on Friday and received the following day. Very easy to set up and the sound quality is really good. Spoke to my sister in Germany and my Mum in Greece. Think it's amazing what you can do these days.

I'm buying these phone to give to customers and after using the Belkin and Netgear wifi phones with great dificulty this is a breath of fresh air easy to setup and use. Excellent call quality compared to the above mentioned wifi phones and still wireless. I have had 1 faulty phone so only 4 stars instead of 5. I have bought 12 of these in the last 3 months and are Definitely the best skype phones I have used.

This is a cheap product and it feels it and the picture quality is bad and the software for it is absolutely minimal and only works for Skype. It won't work with all the other built in apps that use a webcam unless you purchase additional software. Instead spend the extra and get a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 Webcam, which gives a Hi-Def video quality, works with everything and needs no software, it works out of the box. Oh and the mic is excellent and is linked into a single USB connection to the Mac. I am not sure when OS X included universal drivers for webcams but I am running 10.5 on both my Macs and they worked beautifully out of the box.

Everyone of my customers who called me on skype complained that they couldn't hear me! The headset is absolutely rubbish!
