First things first, there is no need to buy a wall mounting bracket for this TV unless you require left to right swivel, there is a wall plate included in the box!!
Regarding the TV itself, its good, read the other reviews ! the only downside is the response time between pushing the remote control button and the system responding, but other than that it is as good as it gets for this kind of money.

Got the TV (Real part number KDL-20S3020) with a 24Hr turnaround delivery from Amazon after only taking (free) supersaver delivery. Maybe things are quiet in terms of stock turnover?
All set up and tuned in using default settings and auto tuning in less than 10 mins. This is a very easy to drive digital TV, with a bonus of a proper accessible power switch on top of the set so you don't have to turn off at the wall socket.
The picture is very very good, matching other Which? best buys I've had in the past. And the sound is much better than alternatives.
Yes it is about £100 more than the cheapest you could get at this size, but first impressions are that it is well worth it.
Build quality is great and the wide choice ... Read More:

Money is a big issue for us so I spent hours and hours combing the internet for reviews and help in what to buy, I finally opted for the Sony Bravia. I am not a techy don't value all those extras but this is brilliant for us. It was easy to set up, have managed to get everything I wanted from the handset without any trouble and the sound has been really good. Unfortunately for us our 3 year old now refuses to watch our old tv anymore as he is convinced there is something special about the Sony, so it must be good!!!

I bought this TV as soon as it was available with freeview. I was initially a bit sceptical given the bad reviews of the previous model, particularly with regards to the sound. I waited a while to review it after other reviewers said that it stopped picking up some freeview channels over time.

I have had no problems with it, excellent picture and easy to set up. I listen to the freeview radio channels on it no problem. Given that it is a small TV the sound is not going to be disturbing the neighbourhood, but fine to potter round upstairs and listen to the radio.

Given the price of the TV, and the fact it looks fantastic I would not expect any more.

My white 20S Sony arrived this week. The delivery and price were excellent. It took exactly five minutes from switching on to automatically tune in both analogue and digital programmes, our kitchen TV aerial is in the loft and I wondered whether we would be able to get a good reception but the picture quality and sound couldn't be better. I wanted a flat screen that would easily be put onto the wall in the kitchen dining area. The back of the set is black but this cannot been seen when on the wall the front matches my white kitchen cupboards, to be able to put the tv on the wall you need to remove the stand by removing 3 screws, the instructions are not that clear which 3 to remove, for those who have the same problem, it is the 3 of the 4 nearest to the ... I have had this Sony model for a few days now and the picture is so good that my eyes have not quite adjusted to it yet. I opened the box plugged it in and it was all up and running in a matter of minutes. I played with the picture settings for a few minutes and they are now how I want them.
I replaced an 8 year old tv that was not even a widescreen so you can imagine the difference. The 26" is perfect for a smaller room that I only really use for chilling out and watching tv in. I am really glad that I did not go for the 32". All I will do with this set is watch tv & dvd's.
I was initially going to go for a Samsung but after going to actually look at the various models in John Lewis I decided that I wanted a matt black finish and not a shiny ... Read More:

This TV was an excellent purchase at £299!

Connectivity is great, 3 scarts, 1 hdmi, 2 av, 1 component, dvi, vga(pc inputs), analog tuner and a digital tuner for freeview.

When connected to my ps3 it displays in crisp 720p and 1080i giving a clear colourful image.

I have yet to wall mount it but have read online that it is vesa standard 200x100.

Blu ray disc looks incredible, casino royale looks amazing.

Connected to my digital aerial i recieve 95 freeview channels including radio. Picture quality is great and has built in programme guide.

Overall an excellent TV for bedrooms but I would not reccomend for a living room, 32" or higher would be perfect.

The LC-32X20E was really easy to set up with an excellent build quality. The menu system is great, featuring an auto tuner, nameable AV inputs and when you turn a device on (assuming all other devices are off) it will auto switch to that input.

The TV itself has no ghosting/shadowing effects and can even handle fast pace game-play from Xbox 360, everything you would expect from a good 1080p television.

One negative I would note, is that the sound quality is a bit trebley but if your going to be using a 5.1 or have an amp it's not what I would consider a problem.

Really Great LCD HD TV, especially for the money. The picture is absolutely first rate, really sharp and vibrant, plus it can display 1080p which is a bonus. The sound is really good as well, although I have played around with the 7 band equalizer to get the sound I wanted. It was a bit bassy when it came out of the box, but if you just reduce the lower end equalizers, you'll get a sound which is perfect for any application (Sky, Freeview, PS3, Wii, DVD, Blu-Ray etc)
Set up is ridiculously easy, you'll be watching the in-built hd freeview channels within minutes. Really good stand also, the tv is very attractive to look at and not bulky at all - in fact its very sleek. I went up from a 26'' to a 37'' and the Philips doesn't look oversized or out of place. Seriously, ... Read More:

Prior to buying this TV, I bought a TV/DVD combination for my bedroom, costing £135. The TV picture was just appalling, and the picture when playing DVDs was impossible to watch, despite any adjustments I made. For £149, I got this refurbished model with Freeview and the picture quality is superb. Plus, great EPG, easy to set up, and someone gave me their old DVD player, so I have the package I wanted. Delivery was excellent (too excellent actually - I wasn't at work that day!), and I received an e-mail from the seller instructing me to check it before signing for it. Was a bit apprehensive about "refurbished," but so far, so good....
