Well the DCC-60 camera case does exactly what its made for. Ignore all the other reviews about it being too tight for the Canon Ixus 80 IS. Yes it is snug but it certainly isn't too tight. Ok it could have had a little pocket for a spare memory card but surely you can keep a spare card in its little plastic case in your pocket serarately........ alternativly, buy the biggest SDHC card you can afford ! I would 100% recommend anyone buying this for their Ixus 80

initially saw the bag in one of the electrical chain stores - over priced obviously, then i saw it on good old faithful amazon. needing a decent bag for my kit, EOS 450D, i thought why not. i was somewhat sceptical about the phrase 'for digital SLR & 1-2 lenses. being a man of chance and a regular on amazon i thought why not. when it arrived i immediately placed the camera and all accessories- with space to spare- in the bag. for the price i would definately recommend it. the bag has all kinds of compartments for any other accessories you may want to carry along. it even comes with a rain-coat !! when i slung it on my shoulder i had to check it was actually there and to top it all it dont't look half bad.

This case is a bit pricey, but it is very well made, camera fits perfectly and it's light weight and convenient. The 'soft' refers to the leather finish and not the firmness of the case, had I not read the previous reviews this may have been a shock from the description. There is no where to store additional batteries or SD cards, which suits me perfectly as I am just a 'point-and-shoot' kinda girl and I didn't want a bulky case designed for the 'extras' I don't need.

Very good product, keeps my Sony a350 very safe. Only downside is a lack of room to put the charger with its cable. This only applies to the UK plug. Although you can put it in the main compartment with the camera.

Same performance as in-box battery supplied with my Canon IXUS 850IS - around 400 shots every charge. An extra (charged)battery pack is vital accessory on long trips and tours.

I had to buy a new charger as my Energizer one broke without any reason. Moreover the Energizer batteries were really bad quality, after 3 weeks they almost stop working and I could only use them once fully loaded for 1 hour on my camera. On the other hand with the Uniross I can keep my batteries in my cameras for several days without needing to charge it. Good stuff and good quality, and cheap!

Just bought a Sony HC53E Camcorder. Very annoyingly my old, identical looking, same 7.2v, Sony NP-FP Camcorder batteries from my previous defunct model [Sony HC22E] don't fit this new HC53E camcorder though, thanks to a few mm more plastic on the base lugs and Sony's new [anti-copying] info-lithium chip. Trim the old NP-FPs to fit in the HC-53Es NP-FH slot and the camera says 'incompatible battery' - i.e. it's got an old style info-chip, even though it is a Sony battery of the right shape, voltage and power. So I had to buy one of these `genuine' Sony NP-FH50 as a spare battery [it's the same physical size as the NP-FH30 supplied with the camera, but with a tad more power reserve]. Sony have nobbled the new HC-53E camcorder so that cheaper generic ... Read More:

I recently bought a Canon A590is camera and wanted a case in which to store it. The DCC-80 was the one recommended. I am not disapointed. The DCC-80 is a quality case which fits the A590is nicely. The case is fitted with two pockets in which to store extra batteries and memory cards. A nice touch is that the case comes supplied with two straps - a long, shoulder strap and a smaller hand strap. Very useful.
