Well, I have to say I am very pleased with this stereo. The sound is rich and full, and you can alter the bass/treble in addition to a DSGX button that lets you further enhance the sound quality rather than fiddling around with pre-set "sounds" such as jazz/rock/concert hall etc. I've had no trouble with the DAB radio at all - upon first installation of the unit, I switched it on and all the stations were found automatically with no problems at all. The unit has a 3CD disc changer in addition to a tape deck cunningly disguised/integrated behind/with the main LCD display - this is great! I've had one of these for over 6 months now, paying £99 from Amazon. Overall, taking price into account, this machine does does have it's plus points, you get a DAB Tuner, FM Tuner, CD Player, Cassette Deck, and Speakers for less than £100. However, the build quality is a little flimsy, and there is only a 3 band pre programmed graphic Equaliser. There is a bass boost, but this just makes the Bass sound bloated and over emphazized. The speakers do sound better if you put spikes on them ( I know it sounds a bit strange doing this, these speakers are only about 6 inches tall but it does make a marked improvement in sound quality) or hang them on a wall. I bought this to replace a Sony Micro system & I used both the display clock & auxiliary input constantly. However, the Panasonic only displays the clock for 5 seconds (!!) & has no auxiliary input. I have managed to get around this, but it doesn't feel like a complete system. That said, the DAB radio is excellent & though I haven't used it yet, the option to hook up your MP3 player is a bonus.

I recently purchased the Sonos BU130 ZP100 & ZP80 bundle and was a little disappointed to find that it didn't come with the charging cradle. The charging cradle is surprisingly well made and sturdy. It comes with a wall mounting bracket. It should be noted that the cradle doesn't come with the power supply. As with all Sonos gear, it's well made and works as expected. It is quite rare that a company gets it all right, Sonos have got it right here.

I was looking for a good quality all in one micro for use with an MP3 player in a bedroom. I like Panasonic and have seldom been unhappy with their products, so I was on fairly safe ground I thought. Not so. My concerns started when I got home to find the delivery man had thrown the box over a 7ft high gate onto soaking wet concrete path. Outer and inner box damaged. The unit amazingly was intact. Once out of its box, the unit looks nice, well set out with and simple in operation. The door opening has a nice split upward motion which allows the disc to be placed upright in on the spindle. That's the good bit over with. The sound was pretty much appalling.
