epson original durabrite ink, they say it last longer and it does its seems to go on forever very good price as well

After using compatible cartridges in my old Epson C62 printer I am convinced that they contributed to it eventually clogging up. After purchasing my Canon Pixma 4500 I was determined to stick with the correct cartridges and was delighted when I was able to purchase a full set of cartridges from Free Ink Shop for £36.99 incuding P&P. This was cheap compared to nearly £60 for a pair of genuine cartridges for my old Epson. The results from my Canon are excellent.

Went to buy this item, needed a fair few as I go through a lot of ink. Had to decide against it as they tried to charge me more than the value of the items in postage and packaging, About £24. Not good if you ask me.

i have had this printer (bought from amazon) for 6 months. i had to give up a lovely epson that had never let me down as it wouldn't work with my new Mac. the very good reviews the nice customers at amazon gave this machine prompted me into its purchase above a new epson 680. the scanner is great. it has beginner and advanced user status and is very easy to format. the prints are super fast although the colour management is not so compatible with the new iMac's monitor, eg, the prints don,t look like they do on the screen. but then i take my work up to a local print shop and they use PC's and the colour saturation is always an issue. i have to drop the saturation by 25% to print out what i see in front of me. altering the colour management ... I have to say that I ordered this with the colour cartridge on 25th June and had super saver delivery so didn't cost any extra and they arrived today. I can't fault 3 days delivery for no postage cost. The ink works fine and I know that I'm still covered by warranty for using manufacturers goods. I use reviews a lot to decide on what and where to purchase and just wanted to relate my experience which has been first class.

I couldn't have been more impressed. Ordered Monday evening, delivered Wednesday morning and works perfectly (unlike some well known refills). Also 40% cheaper than some high street stores. Highly recommended.

I purchased the multipack of inks and found the last one to be replaced was rejected by the printer with a message saying the cartridge was incompatible. When I contacted Epson customer services I was told they only have a 90 day warranty. I suggest buying them individually as if it takes more than 90 days to use them all you could be left with a useless cartridge and no means of replacement through Epson.

Canon inks are great and this Canon PGI-5BK is no exception. I'm very very pleased with the results and can foresee myself sticking with Canon printers and their inks. I have regrettably tried a set of compatible inks in the past which produced disgraceful print quality, where the colours ran and mixed with each other on paper. They also made a mess of my printer around the area where the cartridges sit in place. I had gone too far with penny pinching, and quickly went back to the Cannon original inks. It took many and I mean many executions of my printer's self maintenance cleaning software to get it back to its 'as manufacturer intended' state, even after I had changed the ink back to Canon originals. costs more but works well. i tried advantage and the ink was inferior quality so had to buy hp ink anyway.
