Navman S30 3D Satellite Navigation Unit With UK & Ireland Mapping The only way I could think of to measure the accuracy of the Navman S30 unit was to set it up with a trip I was familiar with, but rather than going out in the car I put it into demo mode. I setup home, and then setup a favorite destination - both very simple. It found the postcode, but not the house of my destination - so I put in 16 rather than 15 - no big deal. The unit was in default (i.e quickest, motorways, etc), and it had no problem getting to the destination town. I resently bought the TomTom One XL with the extras (case, traffic & european maps) This is the first sat nav ive owned and so far I cant fault it. I have read a number of reviews of problems with the XL's window mount being difficult to put the sat nav on and off, but the simple solution I found right away was to turn the mount head 90degrees one way, slide your sat nav on, then straighten back upright. Am very glad to have gotten the case with mine as is something I would have had to buy and am always using it to store in. The traffic extra I didnt realise that you have to pay a subscription fee to get this. So even though I have the cable I wont be using it as Im not going to be paying £30 a year for traffic updates or £35 ... Read More:

Hi, Just thought i'd leave a quick review for the Garmin Forerunner 50 inc USB ANT Stick. I bought this item from Amazon along with footpod, heart rate monitor and bike GSC10 speed sensor. As usual Amazon delivery was faultless, all arrived safe ontime and well packed. The Product, well i have to say the instructions with the watch are not the best, but within an hour i had everything setup for my profile on the watch and using the Garmin Training center software (quick download from there site) on my pc laptop. PC software drivers all loaded first time and very quickly and very simple to understand the Training Center application. My TomTom ONE v4 (Traffic Europe 22) worked straight out of the box - very intuitive, (anyway, it's easy to pop into a high street store and ask for a demo first). Once home it was simple to connect the tomtom to my PC, although it didn't immediately connect to TomTom Home - I had to go into My Computer and find the "install.exe" file on the device and start it off by clicking that. Once connected to TomTom Home an updated European map set was immediately offered, which I downloaded. Note: this was an 850MB file and took some 3 hours on my PC with a 1Mbit broadband; BE SURE NOT TO DISCONNECT YOUR TOMTOM DURING THIS DOWNLOAD, and if you have a dodgy internet connection wait until it's stable.
