Looks like a quality item and I was impressed until i just walked past a table which was exactlty the same height as the Blacberry clipped to my belt. The clip broke with fairly minor amount of impact and couldnt be mended. Very poor consideing the quality of the leather is good. So where are we supposed to get decent belt clip pouches if not from the original manufacturer?

Yes it's big and if you can get by that point it's very quick. It will fit in an average shirt pocket. It becomes more useful when you consider third party applications such as a back up program as it doesn't have one built in. Best to keep that data safe. I used to use an ipaq 2200 but this is much more connectable with bluetooth and WiFi. When connected it's possible to read most web sites, though they can be a little big for even this screen so you have to use the scroll bars to get around. The screen is good to view powerpoint presentations on, due to it's large size. It also allows you to see more of the spreadsheet. Admittedly, I bought these batteries to go into my Xbox 360 Elite pad as I do have a charger but thought that I could use these for my 2nd pad. Recieved them not too long ago & they don't seem to fit into the battery pack as well as they should. I have 4 individual cuts on my hands from trying to get them out the battery pack which took about literally 20 mins, I do hope they'll become much easier to get out as time goes by. But I have problems understanding why they fit more snugly than they really should. Update: Got the batteries to come out (slightly) easier. However, one of them takes ages to recharge once I started charging it at 2 in the afternoon & it finished at about 12.30 at night! Bearing in mind my adaptor takes about 4 ... Read More:

There have been a lot of comments in various forums about the network switching being poor. The early versions of the firmware were simply buggy. If you update to the latest firmware the network issues go away. Switching is no longer a problem and I now never have to reboot the phone. Battery life isn't brilliant - but there is an extended battery available. I love synching with work email and personal email which the 612 makes a breeze to do.

This compaq pocket pc (H3970) is expansive and it has the 2002 software that isnt as good as the 2003 software. It has the bluetooth version 1 so that is slower than the versions you can get today. You cannot send files by bluetooth, only get them from another device. It has infared but it does take a long time to send things like pictures. Also setting a picture to a background isnt easy as with a big picture you will only get the corner of it. The PDA hasnt got the light built into the screen, it is on the right side of the screen and it shines onto it. This is good as you can see it outside even with the sun shining down. The stylus isnt good as if the PDA is upside down it will fall out easly. The sound with headphones isnt that good quality as it sounds ... Read More:

The PDA is fine, but will not work with a memory card in situ. Contrary to what you might read, SD cards in axcess of 1GB memory are not supported by HP or the SD card manufacturers for this device. I bought a Kingston 2 GB SD memory card based on a review of the iPAQ and it is not recognised by the PDA and no one can (or will) give me any help. A waste of money.
