Having successfully used my old phone to access the internet on my laptop with infra-red I was keen to try out my new mobile's bluetooth functionality for a similiar purpose. Having read several reviews of bluetooth adaptors I was keen to avoid the trap of buying an adaptor with a poor software set-up as this invariably led to problems. The TDK was recommended for being easy to set up and use and I have found both to be the case. The included software is very good and interfaces nicely with Windows Explorer. The included mobile phone software is also well produced although I prefer to use Nokia's own software. Although the USB variant is cheaper I find the PCMCIA adaptor a more elegant solution for a laptop and allows more robust portable use ... Read More:

I purchased this device so that I could sync my phone with my desktop PC. It does exactly what it claims to. Set up is easy and quick. One thing to be aware - on older Nokia phones the desktop software will not work with this as it does not like the bluetooth connector. This is, I think, due to Nokia making some changes to the bluetooth software. Not sure if this is fixed on newer model telephones. So I back my phone book and SMS messages up every other day. The one thing the software which comes with the device does not allow is to back up the diary on the phone. As I don't use this feature it does not bother me, but it is something to note. Beautifully designed watch, crafted to a high standard. I use it for everday as its simple design allows it not to look out of place. Although, equally, it's elegant and sophisticated enough to be worn in the evening to a posh do or party. Definitely one to show off to your friends!

I was very disappointed by this wi-fi card, as I was expecting something that would fit it nicely with my Palm. However, without needing to open the package, I realised that the card would stick out by about an inch from the SDIO port of my Tungsten E2. You're much better off buying a Palm that has Wi-fi support builtin, unless you intend on leaving your Palm out on a desk. I put mine in my bag, and would have expected the card to snap off soon after.
