This is a superb little device. I use different digital cameras, and with this I don't need to install any software for any camera, I just stick the card in the reader, and it's instantly visible on my PC as a disk drive. The device is very fast, and very cheap. Who could ask for more?

I thought this was a good replacement for my Panasonic machines (which have both developed some weird faults and will not record on non RAM discs) until I tried to duplicate a DVD-R I made on the Sony on my PC. Yes, Ashampoo says it has copied it and the vob files etc are all there, but the copy will not play on the Panasonic or PC. I have also tried to rip the files of Sony made DVDs using DVDFab (which worked fine on Panasonic discs) so I can post my home vids of bands on YouTube. No luck. I found an alternative ripper but that's another 30 quid. A look around the web told me others had similar problems. It's something to do with Sony's filing system which dislikes your making back up copies of your DIY home clips etc. It ... Read More:

costs more but works well. i tried advantage and the ink was inferior quality so had to buy hp ink anyway.

I've only had this router a day but so far so good. I cannot comment on reliability but no dropped connections as yet. I bought the Netgear router because my old Zyxel P660HWt1v2 router wouldn't allow any ports to be forwarded (even though it should) to my PS3 - which meant some of my multiplayer games wouldn't work online. Apparently, uPnP (universal plug and play standard, for port forwarding) is not the most robust or reliable of standards therefore for some games/applications ports must be forwarded manually (or your PS3 put in the DMZ of your router, although DMZ is not recommended as it exposes your PS3 to hackers). For the money this is a superb device, it's fast at reading and writing which is what you would expect. However, I have encountered one problem which is the reason why I have only given it 4 stars, in order to use the device you have to slide the side button, this retracts the USB mechanism, when you plug in the device, this sometimes forces the USB back into it's housing therefore not activating the device. I don't know if Kingston are aware of this little problem, there should be a means to lock the device in the open position. The other good benefit is the 5 year guarantee

I have used Verbatim on numerous occasions in the past and always been very happy with the item. This particular spindle , however, is of extremely poor quality. Keep coming up with error message "disc is dirty".Other blank dvd's I have still work fine with my Sony HDD recorder, so definitely the fault of the discs. Packaging is also different to picture displayed. I have just noticed another poor review. Recommend purchase of alternative brand until quality control issues resolved on this item.

Does eactly what it says . Great camera for the serious amateur who doesn't want to upgrade to a full DSLR at present. Easy to use, compact enough to carry easily, plenty of features to use if you want complete control or a simple point and shoot if thats all thats needed. Easy to hold, a well thought out design.

I bought this product from Amazon. When i downloaded my music on the card, it was full at 1GB when it should have been 8GB!
