Before purchasing this item I read the reviews on this website and was encouraged to read that Tomtom had apparently sorted out the problems with the earlier versions of the TMC traffic reciever. However it just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything that you read on the internet. Where I live I'm in range of two Classic FM transmitters (the radio station that carries the TMC signals in the UK) and have good signal strength. No matter what I tried the unit simply wouldn't pick up any traffic signal. The Tomtom recognises the receiver and tries to use it but it's constantly searching for a signal. I tried it on auto-search, tried putting in the frequencies manually, tried driving around, tried different polarisations ... Read More:

Having invested in a truly monstrous plasma tv, and having received my girlfriend's "request" that we not use the chrome and glass stand for it, wall mounting was the only way to go, something I was not particularly happy about, due to my lack of DIY skills/experience. This is a superb little printer at a superb little price. I've had it for a while now, and haven't yet discovered any annoyances at all. I would have given it 5 stars, but I'm afraid I knocked one off because of the manufacturer's mind-bogglingly cheapskate decision not to include the necessary printer cable. If the cable was an expensive item, it might be understandable, but since you can buy one for only £2-£4, it's just... well, it's just plain cheapskate. Of course, if you're replacing an older printer, you'll already have the cable, but that's not really the point. Having got that off my chest, I've nothing else against this machine whatsoever. I ordered this printer on 12th oct it arrived on the morning of 15th oct, i unpacked it and 15 minutes later i was using it. Its certainly the best printer i have had, its a little noisey when starting up, but it prints, copy's and the photo prints are excellent,all i'm waiting for is to see how long the inks last.The printer comes with a set of cartridges. I would recommend this printer.

Not a lot you can write about a printer cable. Belkin are the masters of covering their packaging with claims of gold contacts and superb transfer speeds, to be honest I haven't the time or the inclination to test these claims. All I can say is, I attached it to my computer, then to the printer and printed a test page, which came off fine and I've been using it ever since. The build quality is nice too, a good cable all round.
