My partner recently purchased the Sony KDL 32v4000 tv with the Techlink TWM2 wall bracket as a promotion. Great tv but completely incompatible with the supplied wall bracket. We have complained many times but still Amazon are advertising this bracket with the tv. "WHY !!!!!!!!" DO NOT BUY THE TECLINK TWM2 BRACKET FOR THIS TV.

First things first, there is no need to buy a wall mounting bracket for this TV unless you require left to right swivel, there is a wall plate included in the box!! Regarding the TV itself, its good, read the other reviews ! the only downside is the response time between pushing the remote control button and the system responding, but other than that it is as good as it gets for this kind of money.

I bought this TV because of the price, reviews and Samsung reputation. Really happy with it, as mentioed, it's very light, and incredibly simple to set up- with a samsung blu-ray player it's a doddle with no long winded button pressing sequence to watch a film. And there's the 4 rather than 5 stars- picture and audio with blu-ray or dvd is fantastic, but the audio from a TV signal is poor- there's no warmth or depth to it, and it is still sat next to the sony 28" crt it's replacing and the difference is a real shame. I've been through all the menus and set up "custom" sound but it's still nowhere near good with TV. Happy to hear any suggestions, but so far a 4/5.

Got the TV (Real part number KDL-20S3020) with a 24Hr turnaround delivery from Amazon after only taking (free) supersaver delivery. Maybe things are quiet in terms of stock turnover? All set up and tuned in using default settings and auto tuning in less than 10 mins. This is a very easy to drive digital TV, with a bonus of a proper accessible power switch on top of the set so you don't have to turn off at the wall socket. The picture is very very good, matching other Which? best buys I've had in the past. And the sound is much better than alternatives. Read all the other reviews here before making the purchase and found them very useful, informative and helpful in making final decision and supplier. The television is superb and has an amazing picture, even with our old school video recorder. This is a good incentive to now buy a hard drive recorder or a blu ray disc player! Maybe next christmas! Price was excellent value, with no charge for delivery. We received the telly within 48 hours and gave me a treat to play with in time for the weekend and to watch the rugby. Great job!

Just bought this tv (not from Amazon), and having set it up straight from the box, all I can say is WOW! What a picture, Brilliant! It was so simple to set up. Just plug it in. Follow the on screen questions and it basically set itself up. I won't try and make any adjustments for a couple of days, just to let the set settle in. I will then tweak the picture settings to get the absolute best out of the TV. At present I am using a Sky+ box, so it is only in standard definition for the moment, however on 20th December Sky will be installing Sky HD and then WooHoo! Santa is bringing a new Panasonic BluRay player (bought from Amazon) and some BluRay DVDs. I have to say that the SD picture is superb, every bit as good as my Toshiba 32" CRT TV that it's replaced. This TV has got to be the bargain of the century! It looks sleek and modern and the picture is sharp and clear.. Delivery was in a matter of days and the wall bracket we ordered arrived the same day.. Couldn't ask for anything more.. Christmas has come early at our house.. BUY IT!

I ordered this item on Tuesday and received it by 10am Saturday. I love it!! The picture comes into its own when playing a DVD. Freeview is quite clear too. Sky seems a bit grainy, I think I'll get SKY HD. I can't wait to see the 1080p go into action. Saving up for a Panasonic DMP35 BD Blu Ray Player. I have owned this TV for a week now and I can't rate it high enough, I purchased it to replace my Sony 26" Bravia TV which is also a great TV but because of larger living premises a larger TV was needed. I always wanted to stick with Sony because having seen many LCD's I firmly believe Sony are superia in the the two main funtions, those being picture and sound. nevertheless I was still slightly apprahensive about going from a 26" TV to a 40" TV because of losing picture quality. I took a real flyer on this. Not known for their TV's I was more than a little apprehensive when I ordered this for our kitchen. I am pleased to say it was a good buy. Setting up and tuning could not have been easier. Picture quality is good though viewing angles are a little tight. The TV looks good and I advise anyone who is looking for a wall mount to go to Wilko, £15.00 for a good bracket that swivels and tilts. Some DIY stores want £40 plus. If you want a Kitchen, Bedroom or Study TV - this is the one.
