Does eactly what it says . Great camera for the serious amateur who doesn't want to upgrade to a full DSLR at present. Easy to use, compact enough to carry easily, plenty of features to use if you want complete control or a simple point and shoot if thats all thats needed. Easy to hold, a well thought out design.

My sister-in-law had one when she visited in the summer. It was easy to use and download simple. Then a good friend who is a keen photographer said what a neat, high resolution product it was and I was sold. Bought one. We love using it.

I bought this camera six months ago and to date i have taken some of the best photos ever.Simple to operate and use, the anti shake mode is superb. If you are thinking of buying one of these do not hesitate grab yourself a bargain.

Ah the perfect camera for a girl. Easy to use does all the thinking for you and gives perfect results. Just those few points above would make me buy it but also its small compact fits in handbag and the quality of the picture sublime. Oh yes and best of all its pink!

I purchased this camera for the extra manual features it boasts as I like to be a little creative on occasion with my photography. I've only owned the Fuji f50 for a short time and many respects I'm very impressed with it. It does however appear to have one frustrating flaw in my opinion. This is with scenic views that have a high degree of light contrast. (Ie: Lakes with a lot of cloudy sky reflection.) The pictures tend to come out really dark and I have been unable as yet to find any settings that can compensate for this effect. I took pictures of similar scenes with both this camera and my Samsung Digimax i6 and though the focus was better with the Fuji f50 the Samsung had little problem with the light contrast. ... I bought this camera because I wanted "all" the features of a Pro, while not having to change the lenses, but still have enough wide angle and zoom power to satisfy my needs. And for this price, this camera couldn't be any better! Well...it could actualy, in terms of frames-per-second. That's the only thing I don't like about this camera. Too slow if you are into sports or high speed shooting. That's where the Pros really show why the higher prices. Besides that, you almost won't notice that this is not a Pro camera, with all it's manual controls and settings. The dual card slot is also very usefull, so you don't waste your previous xD cards, while you can go for bigger capacity and speed CF ones. This camera is amazing. I've owned 2 other ones in this line (and managed to lose one and destroy the other) and this one is a big improvement over the F50 I had before. The pictures it takes are amazing and the auto mode is excellent. I just wish it took MPEG4 videos. If it did that I'd ask Amazon for a 6th star.
