This is a brilliant GFX card for the price, if you want to make a step up from onboard graphics then this card is a good option. Things to note: - This card is no good for gaming. It can play older titles such as counter strike source, but for the latest games look elsewhere. - Loud fan. To give you an idea of the volume, the fan is as loud as the fan on a stock cpu cooler. As a result this isnt really the best card for a media centre pc. Oldly the Vista "Windows Experience Index" Rating for Aero is only 3.6.

Bought this a few weeks ago after to upgrade from a 6800 that was dying fast. What an amazing card, suddenly I can run games at or near full specs at 1920x1080 res. Also good for CAD. Fits and works fine in my Dell Dimension 9150 running XP on the standard 375W psu. Although this is a little below the recommended power supply, the 12v rail has sufficient capacity and the Dell supplies are supposed to be much better than quoted. I know this card is a little old now, but i'm still not quite sure why this card is so cheap compared to the competition - unresistable bargain :)

I just got the last card today, i ordered it 2 weeks ago on wednesday, it came 1 day after the estimate time (friday), but i wasnt in so i missed it, so i got it today, the guy came early and im pleased he did cause i was away to phone that i missed it, which i didnt want to. But its a sick card, looks amazing, but i cant put it into my system yet cause i've only got 305watts of power, which u need 400w, but better with 500w, so thats my next objective :) cool card...90% better than the 8600 GTS
