For those who want to upgrade their existing systems or build their system from scratch, this top-end motherboard is top of the range quality with instructions for even building your own pc, which is why I bought it, but i would also take a look at the gigabyte range of motherboards especially their new ddr3 ram boards. Well worth the money, and the warranty just adds to the value, so that if something goes wrong, you can always send it off to intel and recieve another one! For me; an absolute steal of a buy!

I used this product to temporarily install the IDE hard drive from my old PC into my new PC so that I could copy over the contents. The adapter plugs into the back of the drive and requires a power supply for it (and for the drive itself, of course). It comes with a power adapter, too, but I didn't require this. The final piece of the package is the SATA cable to connect the adapter to the motherboard. I then had to go into the PC BIOS to turn on the SATA socket I had just plugged into. It took me a while to get this to work, because I changed the jumper on the drive to change it to slave. Had I left it alone, jumpered to master, I would have saved a lot of time!
