Never heard of Klipsch but after reading the reviews decided to buy one and I am so glad I did.The sound is amazing,good base and top end range, remote works really well, the price on Amazon won't be beat "fantastic value" and it does look nice in black too.Stop here and save yourself time, you won't go far wrong with one of these!

This product got great reviews which was why I bought it, and at a great price I was happy as these are generally much more expensive. Unfortunately though none of these reviews pointed out that it didn't work with iPhone so when I rushed home to play with my new toy I was very disappointed to find that it was useless! Next time I will definitely double check this before buying. Although on a plus note I will say that Amazon's returns procedure seems to be very efficient so far.

It's a nice looking product, but at first I thought it didn't work at all with the ipod touch 2nd gen. When you put the ipod touch into the docking station the sound just comes out of the internal speakers, the speaker system of the Gear 4 don't kick in. I realise now that to deactivate the internal speakers of the ipod touch you need to have something in the headphone jack, but because the headphone jack is on the same side as the docking/connection port of the ipod touch you can't have it in the Gear 4 system at the same time! So to use the speakers you have to take the ipod touch off of the Gear 4 speakers and attach a double ended lead between the ipod touch & Gear 4 speakers & then it works fine, although doesn't look as good! Fast delivery from Amazon (as usual) I bought these for under £15 and was not expecting to much, wrong, best £15 spent in a long while, nice "smooth" sound and plenty of volume plus a "bass box" made these speakers very pleasing on the ear. If your in doubt like I was, give them a go, you won't be disappointed, small in size but don't let that fool you, they ARE up for the job, even a desktop remote(complete with headphone jack) that operates the volume of these super little speakers, Thank-You Amazon, Mr A Thompson.

I was convinced I needed a speaker set with a subwoofer but my other half (correctly as it turned out, dammit) said to forget a subwoofer because at the cheaper end of the market they all tend to be very poor, with more boom than bass. To be honest, I hoped to get a set of speakers for around the twenty pound mark, but clearly, as these speakers demonstrate, you do get what you pay for and I am very glad I pushed the budget up a bit higher because I think it is paying off already in terms of listening enjoyment. I was surprised at just how good these speakers were for the price. The build quality and cosmetic enhancements are superb. The volume control is conveniently located and the speakers even come with a headphone port. The sound quality is really good at most volumes. When you turn up the volume control to max, the sound is a little empty and lacking in terms of detail, but there is really no reason to crank up the volume on these speakers, especially when you have them located behind and to the sides of your laptop. For £7.58, it really doesn't get any better. Low to fairly high volume output are really full detailed sounds and the headphone port is a good bonus even though I don't use it. Bad points: poor quality sound and distortion at high volumes. The maximum volume is just enough to be heard in one room, but not if the room is full of people. Intempo IDS05 B Speaker and Docking Station - Black I agree with the majority of other reviews that this speaker dock creates a great sound mainly due I think to the inclusion of a 9 watt subwoofer. Unfortunately it does not support recharching of the new Ipod Nano (4th generation), which is not mentioned in the product description. However, all other facilities are supported using the remote control. Was thinking of returning this item but so pleased with the sound that I decided to keep it.

Great speakers, really good sound for camping or on holiday, although make sure to treat them with care as they are delicate. Just a word of warning, I received mine from an Amazon Marketplace seller (iTALKonline), and I did not receive a carry case or instructions. Contacted them and was told to return them, which is a rubbish option. Why were they unpacked if they were new? Just check before you buy.
