The laptop itself is ok. It took 2 hours to set up out of the box and a further hour to remove the crapware that acer put on it. The screen is hard to read unless you're looking at it dead-on which is an unusual flaw these days. What really got me though was their support. The disk failed after 6 months and I sent it back for repair. The replaced the drive and destroyed the old one, losing many videos of my son growing up. When I phoned to complain, they said that it would have cost £160 to prevent them from destroying my hard drive. This is nothing short of blackmail, or it would have been if they'd actually remembered to give me that option when I originally reported the fault. Absolutely sickening.
