I purchased this just over 12 months ago & was initially pleased with it. Good sound quality & a very neat docking station. For the last few months, the on/off button has been temperamental to say the least. It might work one day but not the next. Extremely frustrating & no longer under guarantee! So I will be purchasing a different brand in the near future.

This system oozes quality, rich deep sound wrapped up in a solidly built case - should last for years. Remote function works well with ipod. Very happy I bought this and not the Bose. Only downside is no radio function which would have been nice.

I have been searching for portable speakers for a while, if you are looking for something taht is:- a) Portable b) Battery powered (with mains option) c) Not limited to iPod's only (3.5mm jack input) d) quality sound Then the iM4 is perfect. The JBL on tour was a close second an is probably slightly louder but the iM4 wins on sound quality and the MaxxBass technology is impressive. For holidays, hotel rooms and on the balcany with a beer it's the perfect choice.

Sounded really good to begin with. Good sound quality and volume. But after a few hours use it would keep cutting out. The only way to stop it cutting out is to turn the volume down. This carries on untill its so quiet you can't hear it and so don't notice it cutting out. Really wouldn't recommend

After reading many reviews of these speakers i knew i had to give them a go. So i ordered them from amazon.co.uk and they arrived today. As soon as i took them out of the box they looked like they were going to be good. You had all the cradle types needed, and 5 different plug adaptors so if you want to take them to Korea or America or pretty much anywhere in the world, you can. Plus the speakers can also run off battries but i`m sure you already knew that. Anyway i plugged my new speakers in and attached my ipod classic, selected a track which i knew for certain would test these speakers. Mindfields by The Prodigy. I have used this system for the past two years on what you might call a "building site". It is now splattered with paint and plaster but has never once failed to deliver - although admittedly it can't quite keep pace with the angle grinder or belt sander as a backing track. I am very impressed with the quality of this little system which - as others have pointed out - is no bigger than a paper-back. It can deliver volume without distortion (within sensible limits) and good bass response albeit not quite so good at low volume. Above all it has withstood some pretty bad treatment but is as good as new. From the point of view of portability it would be hard to beat. Good product !

Really impressed with these speakers, top sound quality, only improvement would be a remote control. Would highlight the excellent service received from Pixmania (Amazon Market Place)...very speedy delivery, with the speakers arriving over a week before the MP3 player that I ordered directly from Amazon!
