I find the August USB Tv receiver fantastic! It's a nice gadget at an attractive price. It works perfectly fine on my IBM. The set up was very simple following the instruction. The blazevideo software is easy to use and the interface looks cool with a bundle of different features! I use the supplied aerial since I don't have a rooftop aerial. I assume the freeview signal where I live will be good as I am living in London zone 2. Given the price is cheap I thought it is worth a go. It came up about 52 channels on the EPG list included 8 or 9 radio channels. I am very glad as it has most of the channels I like: ITV1-3 Sky sports news, E4+1, Sky Three, Five, Five US BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 BBC news 24,Sky news 24, and some shopping channels ... Read More:

This is a magic device and I loved it immediately. I can now watch and record my favourite TV shows in perfect quality on my new laptop. The set up was easy and straightforward. I could not get any channels using the small antenna provided, which is not a surprise for me as the Freeview switchover in our region will be 2012. Fixing to an ordinary roof aerial it easily picked up 68 Freeview TV and radio channels, amazing! The remote is very handy. The device can also be scheduled to record TV programs at a particular time in case you are not in. Overall, I am very pleased and look forward to spending a lot of time with it.

Fantastic picture quality,which even My Wife (who doesn't notice these things), commented on. Mounted in the kitchen, it even gives me more Freeview channels (Due to a sensitive receiver), than my 42 inch TV in the living room, On My roof arial. It has features on it as standard that you would expext on a more expensive unit. Operating also as a digital photo frame, working from a memory card, USB memory stick or a disk, with variable delay between pictures. Also the full function DVD, which so fsr ahs played every format I have thrown at it, including AVI and MPG, and Non British films. This will not work without a proper aerial, therefore is not really portable. You can use it as a 'set-top box' to turn your analogue TV at home into a digital one to pick up Freeview etc. but these boxes cost next to nothing these days in the shops, so you're better off either getting a cheap one from a store or buying a proper TV with a built-in one. Don't be fooled by the positive descriptions of this thing, which were probably written by employees of the the vendor. Its not worth the money.

Nice little TV, I fitted it to the wall in our small kitchen. No signal from the supplied aerials, I had to connect it to an outside aerial. Now we have a great picture, with plenty of freeview channels. Sound quality is not so good. OK for television but very 'Tinny' if listening to radio channels. I purchased this TV because it can also be used to view digital photographs, which it does (though the picture quality is not as good as a dedicated digital photo frame), but there is no slideshow function - you have to change pictures using the remote. I am dissapointed with this, a small feature that would make this unit much better. Finally, the menu structures & remote control operation are not the best. So, it's a good little TV for ... I bought this tv for my kitchen and really pleased about it. The picture quality is unbelievably good for such a small unit. It has both analogue and freeview tuner, but I only use the freeview function. It struggled to get the freeview channels using the small portable antenna supplied but once connected to the house aerial there was no problem at all. The tv can also be used as a digital photo frame playing photos via the card reader or usb connection, (it actually looked more like a photo frame when first time saw it). It can also play video and music from a card or usb stick, but I haven't tried them yet. I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought one of these for my wife as a present, especially as I'd never heard of the manufacturer before, but I was pleasantly surprised. Because I'm so close to our local transmitter I'm within the "shadow" area and have to use a good rooftop aerial, none of my prior TV's have obtained a decent picture from either an inbuilt aerial, or even one of the custom wall-mounted types connected through a booster, so I wasn't at all surprised to find I needed to connect this to the external aerial as well. For that reason I can't make a fair comment about the inbuilt aerial. No doubt I'll find out how good that is when I next go camping, but if we can't get a signal it's easy enough to take a few films along with us instead ! Read More:

We bought this dvd player to keep our Ben entertained on long journeys in the car, and we are very pleased with it. The picture quality is brilliant, so does the sound, but better sound quality when using the earphone jack. The multiregion feature plays discs we brought back from States and it plays Dvix format and recorded discs. The built-in TV function is a good extra to have which means Ben can watch his program and we can watch ours on the big tv. The remote control is very handy, very easy to select playing discs or watching tv. Using the given aerial it picked up about 30 Freeview and four analogue channels, however this only worked in upstairs rooms within the house.
