great mp3 player my only real critisism would be that its touchscreen is a bit akward to use. that aside it sounds amazing better than my old ipod dab is a bonus....its just great!

Despite ordering this item on the 6th of June I still hadn't received it when I left for Canada on the 19th, as far as I know it still hasn't arrived. Makes you wonder what the definition of in-stock means. The mark is for pixmania shoddy service not the item as hard to comment on an item I don't have

This little fella has great sound - perhaps a little bright but I haven't got my head round the EQ yet, and it supports a big range of formats, I wanted lossless and this looked like the best available device. Battery life is good. Not played any movies - not bought it for that. The big let down is the user interface - the menu system - which is TERRIBLE! I upgraded from a Creative Zen where the interface is fantastic - clear, bright, large fonts and easy to navigate but the Cowon is actively difficult to read and use. The font is tiny and it looks like squitty little sractchy writing that you can't read in bad light. It's designed by idiots with no thought to user friendliness. I bought this to simplify my jacket pocket when travelling to allow me to listen to music and DAB radio. At the price you get a very good media player but average DAB. DAB - first off you need to upgrade the firmware (4.58 currently) but still have eccentricities; only 42 stations which gives problems in London as it doesn't list the main BBC, no favourites list and if it can't get a decent signal nothing comes through. As a DAB radio the Pure products are a lot better. Music - I have until now only bought Creative, this is less stylish but substantially better sound and proper integration of the external card (Creative have still to get this right) which is the main reason I went with Cowon. The Cowown A3 is a good all rounder it play DVDs I have captured on by playing them through a DVD player takes as long as it take to watch a DVD good clear screen only thing is u can get a reflection when watching video that can be annoying. Sound is ok I don't think its up to my last mp3 which was a samsung would be nice to have a dance or electric eq but bbe does enhance the sound nicely though. I also use the Cowon to read E-books it better than the samsung for this due to the large screen size, you can alter the back lighting/contrast for when your reading so that is not to bright & make ur eyes ake. I have just been on holiday & used the USB host function with my new Sanyo VPC-CG9 stills & video camera it ... Read More:
