I ordered this hood as the lens was ordered a few days before and wanted the two to work together. The hood arrived within two days and was the genuine article. No grey imports that some sellers try to pass off. The lens still hasnt arrived so that shows the speed of this company. Great service, thank you. Gary

So you want to look like one of the "Big boys", one of the "Pro's", Then this is a good way of going about it. I got my 100-400 here on Amazon for a ridiculous £799.00 As against Canons own RRP of around £2000. Ok so it turned out to be a grey import, but that doesn't really affect me as the USA/Canada warranty that came with it is fine because i live in Kansas. So I suspect that many of the other very affordable lens available are going to be Imports. with the build quality of the L series, i suspect it wont be an issue for the majority. The lens itself has had plenty of reviews in the popular Camera press, i couldn't begin to compare it with anything i already have, but would say that I am impressed with it on so many levels. This lens has caused a mild stir on the internet in the last few months. To my mind, it's the zoom equivalent of Canon's 50mm f1.8, in the sense that it's very cheap but performs very well. On an optical level it has no obvious deficits. Physically it is small and light, and the image stabilisation works well. As a package, at this price level, it's hard to resist if you want a cheap decent walkaround lens. The only obvious competition I can think of is the Sigma 18-50mm, but that doesn't have image stabilisation, and from what I have seen it's blurry around the edges; at the very least, it offers nothing over the Canon 18-55mm IS and it's no cheaper. I got this printer as i was fed up having loads of photos on my hard drive and wanted a photo album of the best ones . I was very impressed with this printer , prints just as good as the photo shop , the idea of the cartridge only doing 36 prints then throw away is great , no more running out of colour half way through a print like normal printers . I got the box of 3 cartridges and 108 sheets of paper for under £18 ( on amazon )to go with it and it works out less than 17p a photo . Oh and the photos are coated so they dont fade which is great. Done over 40 prints so far , no probs , recommended bargain
