Decided to upgrade my wonderful eod400d and lenses. After reading quite a lot about it, I had decided against the 450d and would go for the 40d instead. However, after reading about this camera, I could not resist..... it was quite a lot more, but decided that I could buy this one and not need another camera for many years. This lens is about the best affordable standard lens for the canon eos range, and is a lovely bit of kit. Only disadvantages compared to a lesser lens and the 400d is the size and weight, however feels much more stable and well built. Now down the the picture quality...... all I can say is AMAZING! I do not know how Amazon allow this sort of thing to happen but at least half of these reviews relate to lenses other than the one featured.

Expensive, so 3. And I paid £61 from Amazon - now its over £80, so I'd give it 2 for value. What I was not expecting is that this battery sticks out the back of your lovelly camera - about 12mm - not disastrous, but not great. And its heavy - double the weight of the BP809 your camera comes with. Maybe that was expected, but you do feel the difference because the HF100 is so light. At £61, you might still consider it better than the BP809, but at £80 I'd say buy a BP809 in silver (or black) and consider if you need a third one of those. Only when you are going to be all day at a theme park/airshow might you need three batteries worth - but then that's why I bought it. However expesnice you consider these ... Read More:

During the course of my work i have occasion to use many different Canon printers and fax machines. Untill recommended by my brother inlaw to use www.advantage-online.co.uk i had little faith in the re-manufactured versions available at all sorts of prices. However i have been using advantage for about 6 months and have to say that the version they sell is excellent. Not the cheapest compatible CL-51 cartridge you can buy but the quality is excellent and lasts alot longer. I order today and always get the goods tomorrow with free post, and i still save money.

I have had the printer for nearly a year. Still working without a problem. Prints well on thicker card. I think I have gone up to 240 gsm. It flags low ink levels early but you can monitor the level by looking at the cartridge. If there is still ink in the sponge keep on printing.
