I bought this for work, we use a lot of photographic evidence, it does indeed pass through the printer 4 times, the pictures are fine but takes forever when you're printing lots of photos. Take my advice and use your pc printer.

I have two Canon digi cameras. Canon A 590 and A 560. 30 pound odd different buy A590 and you can not go wrong. A560 is OK but no good at all for close up and macro. This A560 has average image quality but A 590 has its own class ... clearly the winner is A590. A570 A580 and A590 all are better than A560. Last year I bought A570 and immage sharpness was the best. Not much price different among them ... then go for A590IS.(Battery life for 560 is A+ )

This lens is the most usable piece of kit I have ever owned. Yes a bit heavy and yes a bit expensive but it does what it says it does on the box. It is easy to use and will become attached to your camera all the time. I have owned lenses at 75% of the price and have never been completely happy with the results, this is the one. I am using it with the EOS 450D the results are sharp and very professional and you don't need a long wheelbase truck to cart it about...... I love it! Mike

My brother recently got a Pixma 6600D and asked me to order a set of 6 carts. Having an account with Amazon I thought these were a good price but ouch - the postage ended up MORE than the price of the cartridges. OK, I should have checked before clicking confirm but when postage on a small package tends to be a few pounds I expected something below a fiver. Having had a heart attack I would feel guilty passing on the postage cost in full so I shall now end up out of pocket thanks to the unclear cost.

I'll be brief - these carts do their job really well, an excellent product. Except, they have limited functionality, too small and too expensive for the lifetime that you get out of the product. Once you have bought the printer you have no option but to buy these carts. You don't get many printed pages out of these (or the complementary colour) carts. 5 stars for product quality. 0 stars because I have to regularly purchase a low lifetime product to use in my printer.
