My brother recently got a Pixma 6600D and asked me to order a set of 6 carts. Having an account with Amazon I thought these were a good price but ouch - the postage ended up MORE than the price of the cartridges. OK, I should have checked before clicking confirm but when postage on a small package tends to be a few pounds I expected something below a fiver. Having had a heart attack I would feel guilty passing on the postage cost in full so I shall now end up out of pocket thanks to the unclear cost.

These Canon close up attachments are excellent. They come in a variety of sizes and strengths. You'll need to match them to the best lens you've got for the job. The "D" on the end is the higher quality dual lens type and offers better images than the single lens type without the "D" The come in 52,58 and 77mm thread sizes and just screw straight onto the end of another lens. There maybe other sizes available Ideally you would put them on the end of a telephoto lens of around 200-300mm. The longer the telephoto the more magnification you get, so at 300mm you really will be getting in close (but not as close as extension tubes or reversing rings can get you) Its important to understand that you will no longer ... I've had mine for a few months now and really enjoy it. This is my 7th digital camera. I sold a Canon SLR and got this one as I couldn't get on with the large size but still wanted something that felt substantial. As it uses AA's it gives it the extra weight I want. The zoom isn't as high as my SLR but the macro setting is better and I take more of the close-ups. I like the flash level can be adjusted which wasn't available on a Panasonic I had and greatly needed. The sepia setting on this camera is a particularly lovely colour.....easy to use and has a big "grippy" part to help steady it although it DOES have image stabilization anyway. I usually take pictures using the vivid colour setting as it's much more effective. Don't notice a huge difference ... Read More:

I think that the reviewer of this product has actually confused it with the SX10. The SX1 would not have been available in San Francisco as, I understand, there are no plans at present to release it in the States.

Sturdy and attractive. Could be construed as unnecessary, but it is stylish and for me, it was worth it. It is very long, nearly 40cm. A worthy addition to your already quite trendy camera.
