I recently bought a Canon A590is camera and wanted a case in which to store it. The DCC-80 was the one recommended. I am not disapointed. The DCC-80 is a quality case which fits the A590is nicely. The case is fitted with two pockets in which to store extra batteries and memory cards. A nice touch is that the case comes supplied with two straps - a long, shoulder strap and a smaller hand strap. Very useful.

I am disappointed to find that this is not a 'Leather Case' as described in the advertisement but only 44 per cent leather which was immediately obvious as it is far too shiny looking and feels like plastic. The case is good in every other way, however it is a misleading description which consumers should be aware of.

I have owned the Canon S5 IS for six months and have grown to appreciate its very comprehensive functions, its ease of use, and its astounding capabilities for close-up and telephoto work. Many times, I have been with people using a full SLR camera and they have been very surprised at the fantastic macro shots this camera can take of tiny insects or the insides of flowers. You can literally get up so close that the lens is virtually touching the object you are photographing and it will still be in focus. On the other hand, the 12 times optical zoom enables you to take very clear photographs from a great distance away from the subject - its like looking through a good pair of binoculars. I bought a spare one of these for my 5D. It's rated at 1390 mAh and 7.4V. As it's an official Canon product it won't invalidate your warranty if that's a consideration. These battery packs give a very high number of shots and I feel confident with two of these fully charged I can shoot all day, review photos to my heart's content and use battery draining IS lenses without worry. In fact I've only had to change batteries on one occasion and by that time I'd had enough anyway! I think they are rated to give around 800 shots. Highly recommended.

Just a quick note: the lens is uncannily sharp. Really, A2 prints as sharp as anything I've taken ever.

I totally agree with the last review. You have plenty of time to check your order and it clearly states your postage charge if your item is not from Amazon. When you place your order it tells you the availability and who it is sold by. When you go through checkout you have an order summary that you are SUPPOSED TO CHECK which states the p&p charge - if you don't want to pay the p&p you can always delete that item off your order you know!!!!!!

I spent a lot of time reseaching before deciding on this printer.As an artist I need to send very good quality colour prints of my work to potential clients.I wanted control of this myself with out going to a printers.The printer is a good price for the excellent quality.The speed of production is good and reliable when producing say 40 or so A4 prints.The ink use is reasonable not to thirsty and over the 6 months I have had it no technical problems and I use it almost everyday.

I have now used this scanner for a wide variety of purposes, from modern prints and negatives to very ropey images - and it has performed excellently across the board. Personally, I ignore the 'one-touch' buttons, prefering to maintain control from within more advanced software - in this case version 5 of Photoshop elements which ships free with the scanner (two birds, one stone - I was looking to upgrade some version numbers anyway!). This software bundle really is an incredible bonus and will have even the most severely damaged images looking like new in no time. I have spent years suffering with an old Tamron 28-200mm zoom lens and had got used to crappy results. I was therefore not expecting much from this budget Canon lens. It therefore came as a very pleasant surprise when I reviewed the first few dozen photographs I took while testing out the lens's capabilities in relatively poor light (right at the end of the day). The results are truly amazing. The pictures are pin sharp. I managed to capture pictures of birds in flight where the individual hairs on the feathers are clearly distinguishable. The build quality is leaps ahead of the poor quality 18-55mm lens that came with my 20D. At this point I can honestly say I'm a very happy bunny indeed....
