I got this as an upgrade to some horrible cheap PC speakers I got for a fiver a while back. Obviously, they are a massive improvement on that.

But I am a little disappointed in the sound quality. I like to listen to music on my PC and I'm a little bit of an audiophile (but not to the extent that I need professional help), and I suppose I was expecting more from this set up.

Essentially what you have are two mediocre speakers for mids and highs and an absurdly aggressive bass "bin" that goes under your desk or wherever. Well, if you like bass you'll love this - the bass is earth (or carpet) shaking and doesnt disappoint. Unfortunately the rest of the sound is fairly underwhelming and lacking in presence or definition. ... Read More:

104.Creative ZEN VISION:M - Digital player / radio - HDD 30 GB - WMA, MP3 - video playback - display: 2.5" - black from: Creative Labs

Electronics : Creative ZEN VISION:M - Digital player / radio - HDD 30 GB - WMA, MP3 - video playback - display: 2.5" - black
The Zen Vision:M entered the market pitted against Apple's enormously popular iPod. I initially opted for the Vision:M as it was slightly cheaper for the same capacity and I didn't want to become dependant on Apple's iTunes software. It was one of the better decisions of my life.

The Zen Vision:M excels at everything it does. It's 2.5" screen displays videos in vibrant and immersive colour while album art is also displayed next to the songs that is playing, something which, while simple, makes the whole experience seem somehow better. A variety of themes is also available allowing you to change the colour scheme and background to your choice.

The best part of the Vision:M however is not the display. It is the sound. ... Read More:

The only issue is the single wiring to the left of the headphones. It may sound like you are only listening to one side; they also sound a bit muddy but perfect in all senses.

From treble to bass I wouln't say buy another brand. With mid-base being perfect and making instrumental music come alive, these rock. The treble is sharp but can faulter music so if you have a good "Treble" setting on your MP3 or other media devices, up the trebel so sound isn't muddy.

These aren't the average phones' because they only sound good at home. They leak allot so riding the bus with your music playing is a real no. They don't block outside noise either.

Senhisers don't stand a chance. I say buy these if you need amazing headphones ... Read More:

I was actually rather impressed when I bought these nearly a year ago for my laptop at uni, especially for the £25 I paid, and especially considering I'd been used to built-in laptop sound! However, now that they are coming up to the end of their warranty I've found the wiring is tired so the speakers go every so often, the sound is more crackly and tinny, and I'm just generally getting the impression they're not built to last at all.

Now I'm back from uni they're plugged into my high spec pc and high quality external soundcard...and they really struggle with it. It's like playing a PS3 on a 10 year old portable tv!

If you know you're going to want a speaker system that's robust and compatible with more expensive equipment, and ... Read More:

Electronics : Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB MP3 Player - Pink
I haven't had any problems with battery life unlike some other reviews on here, its at least 6 hours in my experience. The player is quick for something so small and holds a lot of music. It works like a drag and drop flash disc and charges from the USB connection so I can use it at home and work, although its not suitable for listening to at work as it does not play whilst connected.

Overall its a great player, if you're sat on the fence just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

In mid December I wrote a very negative report on the HN-700, based on my initial experience. Amazon only allows one review per writer so when subsequent testing proved to be more positive I was compelled to delete the first review and replace it with this one. Actually I rate these 3.5-3.75 stars

The HN700's appear to be well made and well designed, with some exceptions. First the pros: Noise canceling is very good for sounds like road, engine or fan/motor noise. Voices are also muted, but still audible when the volume is turned down or off. When there is no source audio there is a back round hiss, like white noise, although if you raise the volume enough so the hiss blocks out voices the hiss can become irritating. The audio quality on music (vocal and melody)we ... Read More:

I bought this 3-pack of 'day-glo colour' skins for my Creative Zen Stone so that I could clip the player to my pocket-less clothes. The skins are made of thin rubber so they expand sufficiently to slip over the Stone.

Each skin has a separate long plastic clip which slots into a pocket on the back of the rubber skin. (Whoever designed it clearly didn't compare it to the iPod Shuffle's clip mounting, since this one hangs in the opposite direction from one's belt/clothes. So switching from the iPod to the Stone I found I was replaying a track when I wanted to skip forward, and lowering the volume when I wanted to increase it. A small point but irritating.)

My complaints with these skins are twofold:
1. Although the plastic clip has small teeth, the plastic ... Read More:
