This is exactly what you need from a USB hub. Open the box, plug it in and it works first time without a hitch. Nothing crashed (XP) and all my devices worked without a problem. Spending a little bit extra on a decent bit of kit is definitely the way to go with USB hubs. Highly recommended.

Bought this at a good price several days ago.

I needed more usb ports, especially with wireless mouses etc; I'm also about to purchase an additional hard drive to store photographs on.

I was runing out of ports and read reviews on this little hub.

I was't disappointed. I have windows xp and it took seconds to set up.

And there you go, all devices detected and no problems.

5 stars for value for money and it does what it says on the tin!!!!!!!

Great product works like a dream, but the Set Up Wizard using the CD gives no option to clone the computer MAC address and connection just to the internet fails, it was only when logging on to the router that the option to clone the MAC address was offered. I know the info is in the booklet but it should be an option in the Smart Set Up wizard.

This device does everything it says on the box, but is best used after a bit of planning to get the best results. I have two of these devices linked over a Devolo mains home networking system (up to 200 mbits). I'm not too interested in the music side as it doesn't support FLAC and I use a Squeezebox system for this.
I run the Divx Connected software from my Quad Core Mesh PC so it runs quickly. However as I have found for a few years now converting files into Divx format (software supplied) can cause some problems.
First of all the Divx files are ever so slightly jerky when played through the DSM-330 - not enough to spoil enjoyment but enough to put you on edge after 3 hours of Ben Hur. This is not a network issue or a PC issue because ... Read More:

I bought this to replace an older D-link router that was showing it's age, and bought it especially for the N band to match a new laptop.

The setup is easy to be honest: I didn't even bother with the CD malarky that is included because I find they usually cause more hassle than they save. To get it working you just plug in the relevant cables and go the setup page in your web browser (just type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar). From there you just log in using the default password in the manual and run the setup wizard which just takes a few minutes. Simple.

The only issue I had was that it couldn't connect to the internet at first, but I quickly figured this out: I had to use the same MAC code as my old router I was replacing. ... Read More:

This works faultlessly with the DIR-655 router I bought to go with my 20MegaBit connection. The ease at which I was downloading wirelessly at 2.5 megabyte/s from fast websites was impressive. I would advise getting adapters from the same manufacturer when considering wireless-N products to ensure compatability.

I have just purchased this item and I give it 5 stars. I have a D Link wireless router all ready, but after having difficulties with microsoft downloads, which caused my pc to crash,I could not get a connection from the dongle attached to my pc and the router. I tried to download the information required to my old dongle, but to no avail.
I have just set up the new one, which being a click and connect it is so easy to do it only took me 5 minutes. I am not a technically minded person, but the instructions are easy to follow.
The phone line is in a different room to the pc,that is why I need the dongle.
If you have an ADSL internet connection then this is the router you need.
This product also has an 11 year warranty. I told my daughter about ... Read More:

This adaptor worked brilliantly for about two weeks, then the connection became intermittent at best, with error messages telling me it had malfunctioned and was not recognized, and has now completely given up altogether. Very disappointed after such a promising start.

I've had one of these for about a year now and apart from a few niggles I'd not be without it.

Like a previous reviewer, one of the blue LEDs indicating disk activity has failed (or gone very dim - take the front off and you can still see it - just).

I initially started with 2x500GB Seagate drives (never buy Maxtor - everyone says they're unreliable) and recently decided to up capacity so bought a couple of 1TB Hitachi drives. It's not gone quite as I hoped as the upgrade path was:

Removed 1 500GB drive and insert 1TB drive. UI recognises new drive and prompts to format it, then it reboots and re-syncs copying data from original drive. So then have volume 1 of 500GB and volume 2 as a JBOD drive (the extra capacity of the 1TB ... Read More:
