I use these for high power flash guns, portable DAB radio, digitial recording devices and anything that requires batteries to be virtually new for the equipment to work at it's best. The 'life' of the battery is not as good as a top one off the shelf but the re-charge speed is fast (an hour max) and the economics speak for itself. The only down-sides are the charger is pretty bulky if travelling, slower to charge on lower voltage through an adaptor(that is to be expected)and when not used they discharge quicker than normal. Have a few spare sets available to always keep going otherwise there is the hour wait.

They can withstand just about anything that you can put them through and continue working even after having been crushed, mangled, run over or put under water for a long peroid of time. The full-body closed metal covering prevents leakadge in or out of the battery and insures safety for the user and others around. I like to listen to audio cassettes on my walkman and Duracell batteries are the longest lasting I have used. No more going from shop to shop to find the best deal, ordered from Amazon from the comfort of my settee and delivered a few days later. I have also purchased a battery tester and that paid for itself already. A battery that has a bit of life left in it can be used for a clock. My local council has a collection bin for used batteries, so... save money, save time, save the environment.

I really have noticed that duracell 9 volt batteries last longer and provide more of a shock to my tounge than most 9 volt batteries. They are also hardwearing, not that this is particularly important for a battery, but there are some cheap ones that break basically from falling on the floor! These batteries managed to power a range of electrical appliances in my house, and that is all I`m asking of them. Let`s face it: batteries are basic, and with these ones perfection is almost there.
