Seems a really good product. It was up and running within a couple of minutes of unpacking and the connections speed seems fine. I have used this to replace a wireless network with dodgy signal strength. I wish I's done it sooner.

Bought this as an alternative to the xbox wireless network adater. It works perfectly and my connection is faultless, i really would recommend this for everyone!

not as described which is the reason for one star for this product, the spec is incorrect, the high speed unit is slightly more expensive and is 85mbps while this is only 14mbps it even says it on the back of the box

Ecellent product, so easy. Just plug in and you are straight on the server. My wireless does not cover the whole house, this now allows this to happen. Brillant!

I'm not much of a techie, but needed better wirelss broadband reception in an outside office building. I was getting 1mps from my router. I tried better screw in aerials but that didnt work. I read the spec for the Devolo and it seemed too simple. How often does something say "plug and play" and it takes hours to set up. Anyway bought it, simple picture instructons, plugged it into the router and then the mains, took the other plug to the office plugged it in and "wow" 54mps,as a speperate network couldnt belieive it worked so well. One very satisfied customer.

Firstly i suffer from poor wifi reception through living in an old terrace house and have only ever had very low or just plain low reception at the rear of it !About a year ago i bought a Sitecom wireless extender from Maplins but over the last year i have spent an eternity trying to configure it and getting nowhere!That was £30+ wasted so when i saw this product i wanted so much to try it but maplins had reduced it to £70 but i was worried it too was going to be another waste of money!SOO i trawled the net and with about a fiver in postage i got it here for about £57! My brother brought the set with the 2 plugs that give you 85mbp, because I have an xbox wireless adapter i thought i might as put it too good use and use the wireless instead of a wire. It works great and works with the plug we already brought so all i had to do was put the other plug in my room (we also have very very thick walls) and it works superb. The wireless isnt as good connection as using the wire but all the same is the best solution if having problems with getting wireless everywhere in your home great job Devlolo!!

I have tried to get along with Apples Airport express as a way of streaming music to my stereo but when the second one crapped out days after the warranty expired (the first lasted 18 months), I decided enough was enough. Also I didn't like the fact that the output from the Airport was via a 3.5mm jack. The Devolo was a perfect solution, sensible output and a 3 year warranty. Having read previous reviews I was a little concerned that it may be tricky to get working but it was not to be. I still use XP so I can't comment about the chap who struggled with Vista but I found everything just sort of worked. The only problem I have is that the icon on the task bar to choose output from either the audio extender or my PC sound card doesn't ... Read More:
