These are decent quality DVD-Rs. Please ignore the other reviewer who claims they cannot be used for video - I do not know what technical issues he encountered but I have used them for a year or so for both my home movie DVDs and Data Storage/backup and have had no problems. I have yet to try printing on the all white top surface so cannot comment on how well it takes - I just use it as a blank slate to hand write on whatever I need to. A great value product

These CD-Rs have been great for me. I haven't had any failures to burn so far (touch wood), which is a lot better than the previous brand I tried (Verbatim) and definitely value for money. Unlike some of the other reviews, I have only praise for this product and they've worked fine with my external CD-rewriter and using Nero to burn them! What more could you want for something half the price of the cheapest ones in the shops?!

I used them to copy TV programmes I wanted to save from my HD DVD recorder. On about one disc in five, the picture freezes and pixelates on playback. They might be suitable for downloading raw data from a computer, but are not of adequate quality for movies and TV programmes.

Couldn't burn a single one, each one disc fail, total dissapointment, buy emtec if you want to buy cheap and be able to use them.

I bought the 2G one, at the beginning it was fine and I didn't use it a lot. One day when I use again, it's not recognised on my PC and on my friends.
