This is a slim real leather case that looks good and keeps your investment snug and secure. It allows full unhindered access to all points of the screen and I had no problem typing. The top cover is held firmly in place by magnets and overall the case complements the iPod. I have no hesitation in recommending this case. Ps This is not the case for you if you want to use it as a stand, as the headphones attach to the iPod at the base you can't stand it upright, on its side is no more than ok.

After looking online at dozens of ipod cases including several tantalizingly cheaper ones I decided that my ipod is worthy of an equally high-quality accessory. The reviews of other cases also suggested that it was safer to invest £5 more and get a reliable product. This leather cover case really ticks all the boxes: good quality (material, stitching, design), the 80GB classic ipod fits in snuggly but it's still easy enough to get it out if necessary, 2 magnets which are inbedded in the leather keep the cover firmly in place but it's still easy enough to open, the headphone lead can remain plugged in without obstructing the cover when opening/closing, the case allows easy use of the ipod without getting in the way, the belt clip is really sturdy ... Firstly, note that this case is not really any good for the iPhone 3G (which is what I have!). The earpiece cut-out is not the correct shape to expose the proximity and light sensors (which are in a different place to the original iPhone). So the display is often too dim/bright, and the touchscreen is not disabled when calling, so you tend to hit all sorts of buttons with your face. But, I guess I should have been more careful about what I was buying. (the 3G version is now available on Amazon i-nique Executive Soft Napa Leather Case - Apple iPhone) All the same, it is a fairly nice object, made from nice soft leather, with an included belt clip thing which I haven't bothered using. Bit pricey but pretty handsome. Has holes in all the right places for the 2nd gen touch, and can access whole screen. There's a cutout in the leather above the screen (considerably larger than the dot shown in the photo) - assume this is for the light sensor(?). Not too tight a fit so you can get the thing out if you want to without fighting with it, but secure when it's in there. Magnetic closer that keeps the screen protected when it's in your bag etc.

I bought this case for the ipod classic 80GB. I was attracted by the eco-friendly credentials - a small leaflet explains how this operates. It is good quality, soft leather which provides good protection for the ipod. The front of the case opens and the ipod slots in. There are openings to access the controls and view the screen and these are then protected by closing the case front. The front is then held in place by magnetic catches. The green stitching and edging are nice touch which adds to the attractiveness. There is a belt clip which attaches to a screw on the back.
